    I ripped every thing to mp3. Some of my devices play ogg. The iriver and PC (winamp). But some don't. ROKU media player in the living room. I seemed to me at the time that everything would play mp3 but not every thing would play vorbis.

    Transmission power has every thing to do with data bandwidth. You really need to read up about wireless communication before posting things like that.

    Can you point me to documentation of LEDs being 3 times as efficient as fluorescent? What I have mostly seen is that they are about the same efficiency. With the LEDs being about 3 to 4 times the cost.

    I don't know where you vote. But where I vote the identification process is: I say my name and I sign the voter roll and get a ballot. There is no checking of ID. There is no verifing the signature.

    During a tape out review for a chip I was working on we decided to remove the in house code name from the chip because it was a trade marked cartoon charcter.

    Triangulation does however need directional antennas which most things do not have. More than that they need accurate directional antennas those are complicated and expensive.

    I am not sure what is wrong with USB here? You can't have plug and play without the thing being plugged in telling you what it is.

    Most of the heat is disapated accross the transisors. Shorter wires may reduce the capacitance which would lower the amount of charge moving which would lower power.

    The laws vary from state to state as to wheather both parties have to know about the recording.
