All the way back to how childhood experiences affected me.

Still doesn't fill the emptiness. 3 years of effort at socializing and all I got was this depression. ^_^

While on the funny side, Microsoft really should have stayed out of hardware design. In their quest to maximize performance and minimize cost, they pushed the hardware as far as possible causing heat problems and what not. The brick should have been warning enough.

In that regard the PS3 went the saner, and more stable, way of boosting performance.

Back in the Real World, life expectancy is about access to cheap health care for _everyone_, not just the little princes and princesses. And if you only go to the doctor when you're really sick, like dying, cause else it's too expensive... You're losing out of that thing called preventive care.

Quake and such are reliant on sub-100 ms pings etc to be played optimally due to the accuracy of your input devices. Not only is that kind of precision not possible using a controller, we are also dealing with a single server architecture... Thus you will always have what ever the lag is to London.

That is imo the reason why they're going console, in addition to the hackability issue, where they can go more tactical rather than twitch based.
