    I'm still waiting for the particle physicists to confirm the existence of the subatomic particle that causes procrastination. I was going to suggest a funny name for it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

    I'm still waiting for Google to pull out of the US market, but I don't hold much hope for that. Guess that "Do no Evil" thing really was too much to hope for.

    I don't know about you, but I wonder about how it would be to live in a real galaxy-eating-galaxy rather than the very common galaxy-eating-dwarf-galaxy we currently live in. There are some pretty well argued theories out there that suggest the spirals are created by dwarf-galaxy eating, and remain for some time after as the shockwaves travel around.

    Actually, you are either talking about degrees of Centigrade or degrees of Kelvin. The word "degree" can be used for the unit divisions of any temperature scale, it is not specific to neither F nor C.

    I think you have missed, or underestimated the effects, of having to pre-define the interface rather than just using it. In C++ you just write the template code, in C# you need to have an interface defined. How many do you think get a bit lazy and use a more generic interface that includes constraints not nessesarily used in the specific function call?

    Most usability test would propably rank f.ex emacs pretty low, but when you compare the speed at which a veteran with emacs can code compared to a veteran of MSVC or the like...

    3-6 months isn't enough, 3-6 years sound much more resonable.

    Some people seem to think that clause allows the FSF to release a license that subverts the original ideal behind the GPL. But the new license must be similar in spirit to the current version according to section 9 of the license.
