All Slashdot sections have one, just put the section name before slasdot.org. So the politics feed is: http://politics.slashdot.org/index.xml
However, Slasdot has a policy where it bans you for awhile if you grab the feed more than once an hour (I think?) and this applies to all sections... so if you get the main feed and the politics one, you're screwed. That system doesn't really work too well, huh?
Come on, this is just a thinly veiled attempt at making an old-people-free lane. Since old people generally aren't heavy computer users, let alone heavy eBayers, this lane will be regulated to the young and fast! We've all dreamed of it, and now its here!
The article failed to mention the individual who will be heading the group. I wish Mr. Pen and the rest of his team the best of luck for this endeavor. They'll need it.
I'm a big Sims fan, I bought all the expansion packs, made skins, etc. But I havn't bought The Sims Online yet, and I'm not sure I will. I don't have a lot of time on my hands, since I work full time and go to school full time (and I post on Slashdot.) What I liked about the Sims is you could basically play it from beginning to "end" (meaning you got bored with the character and hit the top) in just a few hours a day for about a week. I'd do this, then stop playing for a few weeks, then create a new character and house and start over. I play way too little to pay $10 a month for something that really doesn't offer this same experience, and I think most "Sims" players are the same, casual gamers.
Hopefully they'll be releasing their next system at the SAME TIME as the PS2. This is the key. If they build a quality product (like they have with the GameCube) consumers will compare the two systems and decide which one fits their needs.
I know a lot of people waited until all the systems were out (or at least until the PS2 was released) before purchasing a new one, since you want to see what the other companies bring to the table. I think that's what hurt the Dreamcast. On the other hand, people aren't going to wait 2 years to see what else is out there which was the case between Dreamcast and GameCube/XBox.
Have you seen Animal Crossing? You can play a number of NES games via emulator, and download them down to your Gameboy. Also, with the eReader you can buy packs of cards and swipe them to play NES classics.
Of course, their stance isn't hypocritical. They haven't given up on these old games, they're still making money off of them! Why would they want people downloading Donkey Kong for free when you can still buy the eReader cards for $5 a pop?
It'll probably be at the NAIAS

I assume he's referring to this showing up at the North American International Auto Show, but I could be wrong. Anyone have more info (I checked the links) because I'd love to try this thing out.
Plus the domain isn't going to help any with the main chatting system of kids, instant messaging. (Although the wiretapping may help in this area some.)
If you're a huge Google fan (and aren't we all) check out Google Weblog. They had this story 2 days ago, plus they keep you up to date on other cool Google happenings.
...with an LCD-suit, where would you put which app?
Well, Windows XP could go on my wife's butt. They're both unnecessarily big and bloated, and despite what some people say, they can be trimmed down with some work.

I'm going to post something +5 Insightful, but I have to take a nap first. Check back later.
I usually hate people who make serious replies to "Funny moderated" comments, but here I go.
I'm not a member, but I subscribe to the ThinkGeek What's New RSS Feed. They showed up several hours ago on there.
Speaking of RSS, do Slashdot subscribers get an uncrippled RSS feed too?

The new "AOL for Broadband" has renamed it's browser Corvair - unsafe at any speed.
That's nice of Overture to merge all these search engines into one, so Google only has one company to buy. It just makes it so much easier.
Theres another "what's popular on blogs" webpage at Blogdex. It tracks links, showing which pages are most linked to.

Very funny... except this was comment was posted, word for word, on MacSlash 2 days ago.
But if you're just a karma whore, why are you posting anonymously?

Check out nissan.com. He runs "Nissan Computer Corp."
I heard ISS is really unstable and full of holes. Who would want to go there?
Oh wait, that's IIS.
The perfect companion piece to Bake a Snake.
Geez people, can't we at least get some frickin sharks too?
I thought they had already unveiled a new Piracy-Proof format.
Here's some screenshots.
because now I'm going to have to rent a stadium!

And no, it's not my site. I just think it's cool.
It's spiderman in a nutshell, and it's just damn solid.
I haven't seen this flick yet, but it sounds like it lives up to the book.
Oh, wait...
