I work at a company that has outsourced to IBM, they run all kinds of IBM software other than lotus. They were looking to go to Office 2003 as a standard, but don't want to have to pay extra to get there. They are happy with office 97 mostly.

The first unit that trips the signal gets the green light, all other lights go red. All emergency vehicle drivers are trained to stop on red and then go. I work for a Fortune 100 company and I had 40 machines out of 400 drop right the hell off the network. I really enjoyed telling the plant manager we could not get him back on the network untill late in the day. What is so bad is we are getting hit by 3 different types of worms and the e-mail virus. 15+ minute hold times for the helpdesk today.

Go read some of the earlier writings of the Founding Fathers. Everyone knew what the 2nd amendment was before Proabition and gang land wars. In the 1920's you could buy a fully-automatic Thompson at the local feed and seed. Also, just to let you know, every able-bodied male over the age of 18 is a member of the milita, that law is still on the books in alot of places.

Va Tech has been working on some smaller verison of this type of project. The Army want to have a computer drive fuel and supply convoys to the front lines.
