    My shiny new xbox plays burned games too without a modchip. Just got it softmodded this week. Fun for me. I did have a Dreamcast too and the only reason I bought it over the PS was downloaded games.

    Picked mine up for $50.00 on clearance at office max. 18 hr battery life, has 8 mb onboard and 64 expansion card. I use baen.com to get most of my books. The orginal rocketbook use serial, but the REB1100 and higher have usb. They released the convertion tools a few months ago.

    Monday is going to suck if this gets inside our firewall at work. This is the patch we did not push due to it causes 100% processor useage in some machines(MS04-11). Oh well, I am not going in to work this weekend, this worm will have all weekend to grow.

    I have a friend who went to school with the current President of El Salvador. They went because George Bush and the Spanish PM called the guy on the phone asking for help. Most of the Central America countries are on good terms with the US because of their citizens are working in the US. El Salvador's offical currency is the US dollar.

    Microsoft research released the source code to Allegiance last week. It uses Dplay and some DirectX stuff. The download was 512MBs with artwork. You may find what you are looking for in there.

    Play MS Allegiance, it has a lot of voice chats like that for a space fighter. Plus its MS abandonware, but they might be making a sequel for xbox.

    I would say he is one of the unoffical and unapproved NYC ems units, kind of like Neighborhood watch type setups. I could be wrong, but with his website NYPD does not like him at all. However, he could hook his scanner in the line or mike input and use shoutcast from Nullsoft. People were doing scanner streaming in the mid 90's, so it's not hard.

    You Sir, have lost you mind! There is no way any county can spead 48% on defense. The title say discretionary spending not total for the year. Look at S-2, 2004 390B defense, 429B Nondefense, 493B Social Security + others. 390B out of 2,343B 16% and that is higher than normal. Some NASA funding is in Defense and so is rebuilding Iraq.

    SCO got smacked around by the Judge in Dec and she is really going to be pissed on the 23rd with no discovery done. Novell has a letter that said SCO's lawyers were off over the Holidays. 60 of legalese is something that can be produced of lunch at most places. Remember, lawyers bill by the hour and you can never have too many docs. Someone on Groklaw.net said that each page must be worth 59 million dollars if SCO's wants 3 billion in damages.

    I hope the 23rd is an open hearing with a transcript, its going to be real funny.
