    A "Computer" is too general. A PC could connote 1980s, IBM, Microsoft and Windows, etc.

    I bought $500 worth this summer. Won't ever buy more, can afford to lose it all. Having fun watching it go up, expecting it to burst at any moment. Obviously this is a bubble. When will it burst? At this point Bitcoin can't be used as currency as its becoming more valuable that the product you want to buy with it.

    If you can afford it, which means you're prepared to lose it, buy a few hundred dollars worth of Bitcoin and watch it over time. I did, and it's been fun to watch the values fluctuate like crazy.

    If your height to weight ratios are off, no matter that you don't smoke, drink, use drugs, have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc., you are going to have a difficult time getting decent independent health insurance.

    Before I became a parent, I would've agreed with your idea 100%. But since becoming a father I just don't know if I could "kick out" my daughter for a year -- even though the ends could justify the means. You see things differently from here....

    More likely, I would advocate what the British do and encourage my child to take a year off after high school and do something, whether it be work or travel; but something other than formal educational studies.

    When in late 2005 I still have trouble downloading simple text (*.html) files on the Web due to network connectivity issues I seriously doubt the Windows platform will be in jeopardy. Oh, it will happen eventually, but later rather than sooner.

    I'd say you're correct in a lot of things, but Star Wars (ep. IV) was almost universally loved by children and adults. It really was a good movie.

    The non-digital special effects like the use of models still holds up today.

    The charism and screen presense of Harrison Ford is real (as is evidenced by his successful career).

    There's more, but you get the point.
