The link I referenced has the full list. The point is Valve could sell out at any time and the new owner might not be as nice. At least they are a private company so there isn't any danger of a hostile takeover.
GLU Mobile is having a bad4thQ and this stinks to me of a plot to extort money off of their affiliates.
Valve/Steam haven't shown any signs of being douches so far,
Neither did GameSpy (originally known as QuakeSpy) prior to its acquisition by GLU Mobile. My question is didn't they have a contract in place to prevent this? If not, why not? If I am developing my product around a third parties ecosystem I am making damn sure they can't just pull the rug out on a whim. I'm sure there are details missing to this story. I can't believe GLU would be able to down these services without notifying the affected partners.
I went through numerous prescription AD and they all made a bad situation worse. Then I discovered 5-HTP. I noticed improvement after the very first dose. Obviously everyone is going to be different but for anyone going through depression I recommend giving it a try.
Hard to use...not really. Hard to configure when you need to do something non-standard...hell yeah! I've been able to configure the APN settings on every phone I've owned since ~2000. for iOS you can't do it even if you wanted to. You have to download the iPhone Configuration Utility for Mac or Windows (Don't use those...tough) Then figure out how to use said utility to create a profile for the configuration you want and then sync the profile to your device. If your not near your PC and need to make a change...tough.
Do we really? I didn't read the article so I'll ask in case someone reading this did. Were these players tested PRIOR to starting their football career? It is just as possible (albeit unlikely) they suffered from CTE before playing a single game. Without following them from cradle to dementia the data is incomplete. I hypothesize that the affects of CTE predispose a person to seek out activities that are physically traumatizing such as full contact sports.
Simply because in my 20+ years using a microwave I have used the power setting a handful of times and it never seems to be consistent. It is also several added steps when simply pressing 3 instead of 5 is the same number of steps and in most cases achieves the intended outcome. In this case YMMV (Your Microwave May Vary).
Interesting...My real world experience seems to be inconsistent with yours. I do this with all sorts of pastries to great success. In fact if it is extremely dry as well as stale I will moisten a paper towel and place over it to keep it from drying out further. My favorite is a blueberry muffin with a pat of butter. mmMMMmm
Of course if you go over 7 seconds you are correct. Perhaps your microwave is too powerful. Try 2-4 seconds. Obviously YMMV.
I attended a class in which a food scientist basically made the assertion that any bread that didn't spoil after a couple of days wasn't fit for human consumption. His reasoning was that if bacteria don't want to eat it then you don't either.
Or they could realize sugar is cheaper than honey and high fructose corn syrup (AKA corn sugar) is even cheaper still and decide they can undercut their competitor by using a cheaper alternative. The higher quality breads are out there but you will pay a premium due to the higher quality ingredients and lower volume in sales (due to the higher cost).
Which is why you can throw a stale slice of bread in the microwave for 5-7 seconds and have a fresh out of the oven slice of bread experience. Just be sure to eat it before it cools.
The carriers always have something up their sleeves. I have to download the Bridge app from RROYY because AT&T cripple the version their phones get to keep you from using data on the PlayBook.
This isn't about quality of the video at all. It's about QOS for video.
This report is what Comcast uses to determine just how much to throttle Netflix to get the most people to come running back to cable but not run afoul of the FCC.
Time will tell...Of course if you asked me if I wanted the phone that can run Android apps or the one that runs iOS apps OR the one that can run Android/iOS/HTML5/FLASH/Adobe AIR/etc. apps I'm picking the latter phone my friend.
It's no different than the Google Play store except that it's in BlackBerry App World...or were you referring to sideloading them? In which case they are equally as hard on Android and MORE difficult on iOS.
FYI: The link references apps by Handster. They repackage Android software for other developers. There are other ISVs with Android apps on App World as well.
Blackberry users EXPECT security to be baked in. RIM knew this and couldn't deliver a full blown messaging system with that security in such a short time frame so they provided the Blackberry Bridge which allowed for your already secure messaging on your Blackberry phone to link to the PlayBook with the security intact. when they added the messaging this year I set my accounts up and quickly realized it wasn't nearly as good as it already was with the Bridge. That's why they pushed BB 10 back so far. They don't want a repeat of the bad press that sank the PlayBook sales. What's interesting is the Bridge app isn't locked to only the PlayBook. If you had a BB with Bridge installed you could pair it with your Galaxy Tab or iPad (Bridge uses Bluetooth) and use the remote control feature. (good luck getting apple to allow iTunes to work with a non iOS device) For anybody who appreciates BB keyboards this is a nice addition.

RMS is the modern day Dread Pirate Roberts. He is constantly replaced by a new person to continue the IDEA...
ROFLMAO!
Telling RMS to stop being radical is like telling a fish to stop living in water...
Yes, it's a choice. The choice is "Do I pay my bills this month or stay home and rest?" Not everyone has a salaried job.

The government regulation bit is spot on though.

To hell with homeless/unemployed people. Denmark has a better solution (NSFW)

It's already available.
IF you plan to see Skyfall read no further.
