pc are computers with keyboards, but not all computers with keyboards are pc's pc refer to x86 (or x86_64) descendent's of the original IBM PC and its clones
If your customers need to be able to veiw your documents properly and consistently couldn't you just save the documents as a pdf which will display properly everywhere?
Why should I not play it for free? I read books for free that I borrowed from the local library or friends completely through. I barrow movies and shows on dvd/blueray from the library and friends and watch them all they way through, I listen to music and audio-books that I barrow form friends on cd and hear the whole album/audio-book. Why should games be any different than every other media? I have in the case of many of my favorite books, that I now own my own dead tree version of, I read originally after borrowing them from a friend or the library. I first played Halo CE for pc when my friend lent me the disk after he finished it a few weeks later I bought it from amazon. People find many things they like through their friends sharing it with them locking games to one device is a horrible idea. Then there is the problem of when your own device dies say the cpu dies or the power supply decides to catch fire? you buy another if they are still available (hell i still play mario on an Nintindo NES and pong on a original atari) and it won't run your games because they are locked to your now dead console.
The transporter soul debate seems to me to exclude the possiblility that a soul is an emergant property of each individuals unique phisiology combine with experience where those expersians are stored in the brain, and if you were to create an exact duplicate down to the indivigual neuron layout and proteins contained within the individual brain cells and with the same stored charges etc then you soul have an exact duplocate soul if this creation resulted in the destruction of the original the net effect would be you would still be you only in a different place
firstly not all cameras are wireless, also how do you configure a wifi card to connect over an encrypted channel? and as i stated earlier pulling large sets of images and hd video over bluetooth or wifi is slow and painful assuming you even have space for it.
Yes they do care about peripherals, most people would like to be able to plug their digital camera (if you are out hiking you want a camera not built into you tablet), their external hard drive, their usb drive, their usb printer or scanner, your digital home video camera but you cant plug those into a ipad, you can plug them into an ultra book. You want to edit you home video that you just dumped your HD digital video camera you your kids graduation or of your vacation footage on an ipad the interface isn't even the problem then hard-drive space is, hell until now my dads mid range consumer camera he bought in the mid 00's has had more storage than any ipad. good luck trying to replace all of that with bluetooth. blue tooth is a toy in comparison to usb for anything more the most minuscule of file transfer/editing
I got board in a windows server class and installed BOB on Windows Server 2008 with a bit of hacking and assigned all everything a piece of furniture. Ah good times.
or you could destinguish yourself with better specs, more ram more storage, more usb ports, sd card reader, or unique features like put in a CB radio tuner as some one that does a lot of fishing and camping out of cell phone range it would be nice to be able to comunicat with my freind on half lime down river or the other side a lake or just to save minutes. or integrated weather radio or stylus for writing, or come with hdtv tuner or am/fm tuner or any of a dozen more features to make each model stand out. or make it water and drop resent ant so if you drop it in the water it will survive with out having to sit in a bowl or rice for week to dry out. Make all sorts of smart feature phones to stand out.
Correct me if i am wrong but don't you have to compile everything from source? if so why wouldn't i just go with gentoo as linux generally supports more consumer hardware? I know *bsd code is generally accepted as being more solid but will it support whatever random computer hardware i plug my usb drive into? will it just work out of the box on what ever computer i need?
The problem is though to get the FSF stamp of approval you can't have even a opt-in non-free repo which debian has had but is getting closer to abandoning in a quest for the GNU stamp. How is my freedom protected by the removal of my ability to install software? How is removing the non free as in speech wifi/graphics driver repos supposed to help me when it means my laptop can't connect to the internet or display properly? By default the debian install is already free software but, GNU wants to remove my ability to install what I want so as to "protect" my rights to use my computer as is see fit? What if i just want to connect to the internet or be able to have X11 run properly. The issues of legality of none free codex while I agree is something that needs dealt with, this is not the place that, as it is a matter of legilative Patent and copyright reform that needs corrected. For now though simply putting that code in a separate deactivated repo as is done by most distros is adequate but for some odd reason not enough for gnu. Yhey believe that it should not be an option leaving me to wonder how am i more free for not being given the option? How about letting users make the call of what is best for themselves? Or are we to be forced to live freely?
The problem with that is debian has been making it harder to get non free software in a misguided attempt to appease stalman and the fsf to be a Gnu approved distro, and Bsd has far less software and hardware support
Nokia sold 87 million phones last quarter. You need to wake the fuck up
How many did samsung sell in the same period? How many did apple sell? How many of those nokia phones were dumb phones not running MS software? how many were given away for free with a contract and data plan (those aren't the phones people want those are given and they replace latter)
typing for any length of time. touch screens suck for typing.
he could route it through tor then their ip records would be less than useless

Well, that's both arbitrary and wrong. The older mainframes that used paper tape and punch cards didn't have keyboards.
You don't get to define what makes a computer, and by any meaningful definition, a tablet is undeniably a computer.
ENIAC didn't have a keyboard, that doesn't mean it wasn't a computer.
Sorry, but you're wrong.
um they didn't say computer they said pc or personal computer based off of the original ibm pc which have always had keyboards.

ssn is not something you want to be handing out to everyone that you give your email psudo random 4 digit number is fine though.

Or BSD licence, then you have the legal protection of the not our fault if it screws your computer clause
Im giving them net access for free the telecoms are being paid for access to the net big deifference.

Post pc world my ass.
Why would I have Emacs be my shell and run all of those tasks that's what bash is for.
I got board in a windows server class and installed BOB on Windows Server 2008 with a bit of hacking and assigned all everything a piece of furniture. Ah good times.
gimp with a touch screen would be painful it would need a interface rewrite to be useful on a touchscreen at the very least.
I am not saying it would be a good idea. But just think of the money they could make.
A long time ago in a Galaxy far far away
where no man has gone before...
Next he needs to do a reboot of Stargate, then he would have worked on all of the Star+* franchises.
Please don't give MGM ideas.....
I'd be fine with it as long as the have Richard Dean Anderson back, or some how brought in Robert Carlyle (the one actor that SGU worth watching)
