  1. bad assessment on Attack of the Clones to Cost Economy $300m · · Score: 5, Funny

I'm sorry but if I'm not waiting in line for this movie, I'd just be playing solitairre at work. So really the economy is being spurred by me going out and spending money, no?

That's interestingly a very interesting comment that piqued by interest in this interesting subject of interest. What I'm more interested in knowing is if any other interesting people are interested in this interesting idea? Because if there are interesting people interested in this interesting idea, well, I almost hesitate to say it, I'd be interested!

Had you read, you'd see you have to give it your 'concent' (sic). I can't believe this then went on to get modded up.

Why is it that no matter what things humans do to the earth (good or bad), the ONLY time we're "playing God" is when we fiddle with genes. Very arbitrary criterion if you ask me. Did not God create the trees and the animals? Why when we destroy or create these things then are we not "playing God". It seems a bit illogical to me.

This is a REALLY good idea! Think if there was some central repository for security updates and stuff that shipped with the OS! You could just click a link on your desktop and it would show you everything that needed to be updated or that had security holes. Then you could easily check what you wanted to patch, and it would do it for you! The only thing left is a name for this great idea, how about "Windows Update"??
