Finally the big studios are getting with the program and embracing new technology... OHNOES!! Have you seen the usage requirements/restrictions? Once again they have shot themselves in the foot.
Instead of giving the people what they want, they are following down the same stupid path as always. At least some good will come of this...
Now the average person who wasn't really familiar with BitTorrent can learn how and what it is used for from this site and then go to another site and download it for free. Thanks for the lesson BitTorrent.com !
So I buy my favourite SONY label music artist's CD.
I then buy a Sony Vaio PC. I then buy a Sony CDR Burner. I then buy a Sony CD-R AUDIO 50 pack. I then use my Sony Vaio to make a backup of my Sony Music CD with my Sony CDR Burner onto a Sony CDR AUDIO cd which I then play in my Sony Car Radio.
And now they say I'm not allowed to do this? They ENCOURAGE it. They give us all of the tools to do it. Hell they even make those bullshit "audio" CDRs for it.
The EFF should just walk into the court room with all of the above "devices" and submit them as evidence.
Speaking of QoS... a few months ago I got a DLINK router for my AT&T CallVantage VoIP.
With the QoS turned on, the router would constantly limit my bandwidth even when I was not making or receiving phone calls. All day it would do this.
I turned off the QoS and everything works fine.
If you want your games to run smoothy, don't run P2P apps through your router (or max your upload speed with a FTP for instance) and you will be fine. These new QoS routers ara all gimmicks.
1. Make a better game than EA 2. Allow importing of team names and player names and stats from outside sources (eg: fan sites) 3. ??? 4. Profit.

Remember all those NBA games that were missing Michael Jordan's name, yet there was a "super" player on the Bulls that looked just like him. Everyone just renamed him to MJ.
If he had wanted his family or others to read his messages, there is a little feature he would have used. Its called CC.
He didn't send them the email, therefore it is none of their business. Son or not. They aren't trying to unravel some murder mystery or something. It was his personal email. Key word is PERSONAL.
Note to all military personnel. Start a BLOG so your family doesn't go nuts.
If the deceased had wanted others to read that email, wouldn't he have used CC on them?
These are just people dealing with a great loss and looking for something - anyting - to hold onto. But Yahoo! should not give them access to any of his accounts. Sorry.
I would like to ask all of you complainers out there, what do you think is a fair price for broadband access? You complain about companies like AT&T charging $40+ for access. These companies have invested BILLIONS into high-speed access, and have no idea when or if it will ever be profitable. They have to charge SOMETHING to pay for all the equipment, fiber, tech-support, advertising, etc etc etc. I personally don't mind paying $40/month. If you can't afford that, then you don't need to be on high-speed access, because you certainly aren't buying anything online either. Go back to your Juno's and Netzero's and look at Ads all day long.
If the gov't would leave these companies alone for 2 minutes, maybe, just maybe, they could bundle all of their services together and offer me a lower price for a package deal (broadband, cable tv, phone service, wireless, etc). Instead, I have to pay AT&T, Verizon, Time Warner, et al.
Corporations aren't 100% evil. What's worse, corporations or the military?? Without either, there would be no internet (and the world would probably be a better place). =)

Can someone say www.allofmovie.com soon ?
If all of us Yanks died, there would be relatively little content to download. Thus DoD would of had no reason to exist.
Why do people support closed systems like iTunes and the such? www.allofmp3.com is DRM-free. Then again so are the 100 torrent sites.

We could use some population control right about now anyways.

These are not the DVDs you are looking for.
MS should do what Apple does to make some money... charge money for incremental updates.
.1 that I have to pay for.
You could make an argument that MS already does this (Windows 98SE was a FIX to 98), but I have yet to see a Windows XP
...its called "OPTIONS".
id rather go on the worlds scariest rollercoast than ride on one of these backyard rigs.

I think we should look for intelligent life on THIS planet first.
Can I order some pseudo-Kryptonite a la Richard Pryor in Superman III ?
