It's not particularly surprising, either. The lone pairs on each oxygen will repel those on adjacent oxygen atoms, causing the interlocking pattern. Similarly, these same electrons will be attracted to the metal surface (copper); since they are on opposing edges of the molecule they will hold it flat against the surface.
Neat? Sure. I fail to see how this is a new process, however.
I never accused you of lying; I asked a simple question because I was curious & you'd spoken so assuradly of his case that I thought you must know. So.. how did he?
I work as an EMT in Massachusetts, and our summertime uniform shirt is a green polo shirt. If I stop at a Shaw's after work I am berated with questions from customers who mistake me for a store employee -- despite the huge Star of Life on my back.
Admittedly interesting, but: Won't the rapid heating of a trapped mass work pretty much the same as an intertial confinement reactor? Same method is used in thermonuclear weapons. So are you proposing controlled detonation?
I propose that contracts to prohibit disclosure of trade secrets ought to be legal, but not non-competition agreements. Trade secret information, whether developed by the company and told to the new hire, or developed late by the new hire during their employment is property of the company; non-disclosure agreements keep this information under control. However, the hired employee (or contracted) is renting out their abilities and knowledge; restriction ought to be illegal.
The evidence during trial can be overwhelming.. videotaped brutal murder.. and the jury can find the defendant Not Guilty. That's the jury's right, and it is effectively beyond reproach. It is given to the jury by the nature of the judicial process, not through specific legislation.
I've had trouble with Adium eating memory. All it takes is re-launching the app, and it seems to have become a much less frequent issue since 0.86 came out.
Or, ACTUALLY.. Halon systems release compounds containing the halogens Chlorine and Bromine. At high temp they are released from their compounds, and begin to catalyze the endothermic breakdown of combustion intermediates. They interfere with combustion at the chemical level, inside the fire itself. The result is that the fire goes out very quickly, and you can still breathe. Halon systems do not remove breathable oxygen.
they don't need to prove his guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt. The standard is "beyond a reasonable doubt."
RAID-5 would probably work well, though the equipment can get costly.
How does Netflix manage their inventory?

Took me a moment to get that one; scheme isn't a dirty word in every English-speaking country.
