Some how I doubt these universities got written permission from all their students
No I know I am correct. I crawl into bed at say midnight, Eventually I look at the clock and see a time like 3:00am Hence the ~3 hours in my prefious comment.
I tried that, I just have the awful problem of not being able to fall asleep. It's not unusual for me to spend 3 or 4 hours at night trying to fall asleep. I have tried all sorts of "cures" and some work in the short term but nothing ever lasts very long. I think I may try the SSRI idea I read a few posts up.
But hey I know why my sleep is so messed up, I just figure it is payment for past transgressions.
Several years ago I had a PC answering system for my dad, but recently he upgraded his computer. Now I have tried several voice modems and none compare to the old ISA one I used in the original system. Tell me what would you say is the best modem (PCI) that I should use.
Obviously you have never had a car repossesed. I have. And you get quite a bit of noitice before they "steal" your car back. In my case I talked with the repo guy. He was nice enough. I didn't want to fight him and hell I figured everyones got a job to do. He took mine in broad daylight.
And for when my wife had her pregnancy complications I was payed up on my car. After I lost my son nothing really seemed to matter for awhile.
There had better be something to that affect in the contract, Otherwise they could be in a heap load of trouble. Imagine this scenario, Young couple is about to have their first baby, there is some complications with the pregnancy where they need to rush to the hospital. Now imagine that their OnStar system has locked them out of the car. I can just see the lawyers circling.
Umm mhe is being told where to get a dos boot disk, and I believe bootdisk.com has some.img files (or at least links to them, at least they used too) So how is he not helping. I feel sorry for him not because he can't flash his bios from linux (the last thing I would want to do is flash my bios with other processes running) but that he is to fanatical about linux to understand that some OS's are better for specific tasks. And guess what DOS is pretty much perfect for flashing your bios.
Umm, Israel not agressive (or aggressor). aren't they considered pretty much internationally an occupying force. So if Israel is protecting their country, then what are the palestinians doing. Invading?
I won't say the palestinians are making good choices but no one can say they hold the entire blame.
I disagree. Just be3cause something is open source (as in they offer the source with the binary) does not mean it must be GPL (freely ditributable (ok nevermind the really poor spelling)). GPL is not the only open source license. In fact I wish more commercial software were like this. It would make security auditing much easier. Yes I cannot use their code in my projects but at least I could have some trust in their programs.
Actaully in 1973 Congress passed the War Powers Act, which in short allows the president to send in troops where he see's fit with out the approval of congress.
It's just a little bit of history I thought you should know.
Well I am goning to take off my tin foil hat for once and look at this rationally.
Hmmm let's take money from our already underfunded public school system and instead of using that to buy books or (heaven forbid) offering teachers a livable wage, lets use it to install a system that will most likely not live up to our expectations for it.
I always found it funny that the people we want our children to look up to, the people who watch and teach our children, have some of the lowest paying jobs.
If I had mod points I would use them all on this. If they want the contract well we (the taxpayers) want to know exactly what you did to earn your pay. We foot the bill don't we have the right to know what you have done. It's not like it's a national security issue, I just want to know the eaiest way home.
Oh by the way, snow storm in New England, I have 8 inches in my driveway, and it's still coming down hard. Yay
Ahh the infamous Neuromancer script. I happen to have had a copy in my greedy little hands. (unfortunatly it went the same place as everything else, with my ex-wife.) But the time is up and has been for awhile, the rights have been transferred back to Gibson. So if you think you can do it right why not try and contact him.
I believe this would violate FERPA

I agree with you. You know when they are going to repo your car. (plus you still owe the outstanding balance even if they take it).
But locking you out of your car cause you are late is not the same thing unless they stop charging the interest while it is locked.

You ever here of a company called Apple?
Think before you speak. I think most Trademarks are common words (what the hell is a common word anyway, how is it different from an uncommon word).

Actually you have that backwards, I think EVERYONE can factor a prime number no matter how large.
Your sig: Shouldn't it be "i" as "Pi" is not an irrational number.
I wonder if this has anything to do with this, Pilot Whales Beached in Tasmania.
Too much caffine explains why they get so disoriented.
Actually due to a HUGE congressional blunder called the War Powers Act of 1973 that is no longer the case.

Or you could try Synaptic.
