What are they going to do? Refuse to make any new music? Most people who are in bands are there because they have a passion for the music. Some is more commercial than the rest, but I hope I'm not too optimistic in saying that many artists do it for the art.
It's also probably worth noting I turn most plants brown by touching them (although it takes a day or so) and I kill wristwatches inside of a month, for no apparent reason...
Well, I'm the third owner, so I don't know if the process was set in motion by earlier owners or not, but they developed in the year and half or so I've owned it.
It would be all well and good if those drunks just STAYED at home, but they don't...
The fact of the matter is, we already have laws to adress the things people might do, the drug they use before doing it doesn't make a difference. I'm not even going to get into how much more fucked up you can get off of OTC drugs than you can off alcohol...
There are many players and plugins for mainstream players that can run gapless audio. The album looks interesting, run it through LAME if you have a copy. =)
"Given our concerns about terrorism, in and around public transportation, it's a law whose time has come," Senator Balboni said. "We don't (want) people to be able to thwart anti-terrorism surveillance."
Wait, this lady is claiming it's anti-terrorist surveillance? Because terrorists would never break a (relatively minor, in the end) traffic law. Too law-abiding for that.
The palmrests on my 12" powerbook are very much metal. I have the dents to prove it. Beware of falling bookshelves. Now, getting that panel up to replace the hard drive, that was even worse.
While I like the idea of putting every cycle to use, I imagine the phones are slow enough that processing any signifigant data units would be too bothersome to consider. Perhaps doing FFTs on one of the newer phones with 3d chips, but even then that's a stretch.
Yes, but the screen is smaller, thus requiring less (or even less elaborate) lighting, such as LEDs in place of CCFLs. I admit ignorance in the design of these particular units, though.
I have a 12" g4 powerbook, and it's plenty reliable. I love being able to just close my laptop and toss it into my case, then just pop it back open when I get somewhere. I sometimes forget that I haven't rebooted my machine in months, too, because when the battery gets low, it automatically sleeps the laptop. It's only when it gets really low, or in some cases, cold, (it does get cold enough around here for batteries to stop working), that it stops sleeping and dies.

I get the feeling he's not talking about what a dime is, but rather how much a dime is. Dime being slang for something slightly less legal....

I dunno, my aluminum powerbook is pitting on the palm rests... I'm not the only one for it to happen to, either.

His alcohol level was found to be 0.08%, well below the legal limit...
Would you rather not have a pancreas? I find having one to be a positive experience.

The summary says 16MBps, I was mistaken.
That's megabits, not megabytes.
;-)
15MBps = 120mbps, about 12 times faster than your 10mbps connection, and about 20 times faster than AT&T's 6mbps service.

Ah, thanks, the internal bleeding bit didn't really follow in my mind.
Why Warfarin? I only see mild weapon potential in a blood thinner. Perhaps there's some use of it I'm not aware of? *googles*
My reasoning would be a less literal translation:
'Take a picture'
Only 50 cents a peice? Is that before or after the rebates? =p

re: your sig.
email me, I might be able to help you with something. *might* be able to help.
I beleive it would take more electricity to split the water than it would create in heat energy. This is more decorative than anything, I think.
I seem to remember the same card, although they also said they shone lasers at it, so I don't know.
Already been done to death when it was IBM making them. Look into the 60/75GXP series.
And I'm sure they'll laugh for the first hour or so.
