Quake 4 Announced

Let's hope they can come up with something better than, "Aliens take over, and you have to shoot all of them to save the planet" and "Aliens come back and take over, and you ahve to shoot all of them to save the planet...Again."
Every Doom/Quake game has fallen in line with the same story that made Doom what it was. And it got stale after Doom 2.
The elevator scene after the accident was fucking hilarious. You know why? Because it was UNEXPECTED. That's what made Halflife fun. It added a storyline to an otherwise mundane genre.
Let's hope ID will learn a thing or two from these people. They aren't the only fighters in the arena anymore. The days of Doom are gone.
Bah, I don't come here to read links! I'm here to bitch and whine about things that no one gives a shit about. Like this post I'm typing out right now. =)
And yet I know people *with* degrees who are dumb as bricks and can't do their job half as good as they should be able to because they don't have a clue as to how to apply any real world knowledge.
Degrees are bought and paid for (I should know, I have one.;) and any loser can read a book and take a test(again, I should know *snicker*).
God, I am so fucking drunk right now. LaLaLa.
Who said banner advertising was dead?
There's another kind of ad technique I've seen floating around(literally). It seems rather new. It's a shockwave ad that comes in the form of a floating logo that stops right in front of the content you're trying to read. You have no choice but to wait for it to start floating again before you can read what you came for.
Although, it's nothing a quick uninstall of shockwave won't cure.
That feature will be in the next kernel revision, just you wait and see.
Or better yet, Naked and petrified with a side of hot grits. ;p~
I found that article highly informative!

lol, now you're trolling us. ;p~
Shoo, go away.
Or by reading Slashdot. It has only been posted 30 or so times in the past few months. ;p~
LOL, just what we need to see.. Another Metallica lawsuit.
You're using a Voodoo 3. 'Nuff said. ;p
I've already tried it, and I was actually very impressed with it.
Very professional looking.
It's a shame this thing has to die.

And whaddaya know..Both links are dead.
Damn, that didn't take long.

I'm Canadian too, and I thought that was the best one in the list.

No, but I'm sure you're going to write them a nice long E-mail telling them.
*hint*hint*
I'll take that bet, and throw in the robot from Lost in Space.. Both the original and the blockbuster flop versions. ;p
The set, the board, the opponent, AND his dog.
Maybe even the wife..
Would you assholes quit moderating me up? I'm at least trying to stay below the -100 mark. You're fucking it up for me. :P
LOL, who let you out of prison? ;)
Back you go! The Linux movement still needs its martyr of the week.
LOL, can you imagine this thing getting a BSOD right at a critical moment in the game? Does this mean the human player will win by default? ;)
I can fit the set AND The board. ;p~
Beat that.
600k to throw a chess match? And a million to win?!
Jesus, I'm in the wrong fucking line of work.
That's the show it was on. It was the Ventura impersonator who said it though.
