I've been doing an experiment with myself: don't watch any trailers and see if makes the movie better.
So far, I've seen about 5 movies without seeing any trailers, and the movies are much better!
Better than what? The movies were better than if you would have seen previews first? how can you measure that?
Or are you saying that the movies were better than other movies that you had watched WITH trailors? Because that's not too accurate of a judgement either. I could go a good movie without seeing previews and of course it's going to be better than a bad movie that i have seen previews for.
I think you should just stop worrying about it and enjoy the movies for what they're for.
In addition, Ford has always had the ability to simply block any requests that are forwarded from www.fuckgeneralmotors.com. This is a fact they certainly don't want known, since it would show how they are clearly wasting resources with this frivolous suit and attempting to establish a precedent that would forever affect the net community in a very bad way.

Electricty scares me too. A friend of mine bought a taser a few days ago and we "tested" it on saturday night while being drunk and bored. All day sunday it looked like i had mosquito bites up and down my arms.
I just bought a Creative 12x10x32 ($150) recently to replace my ancient Memorex 4x2x6 ($375). Back when i first bought the old drive and cds cost an arm & a leg, i picked up 3 packs of 10 CDRs for $20 per pack. I got home and realized that two of the packs i grabbed actually contained 7 CDRs and 3 CDRWs and were labeled as $50 a pack. Luckily, the clerk just rang up the first pack 3 times and stuffed them all in a bag paying as little attention as i did.
When I said "updating" I was referring to any sort of updates to their site, not just reviews. Yes, OMM has updated in the last few weeks. When did this discussion turn into talking about game reviews ONLY?
I don't think the point of OMM is to be the best gaming site out there with the most reviews and most groundbreaking news in the world of games. I think they're supposed to be the site that sits back and calls the gaming industry a fag.
I'd rather read multiple reviews of a game than listen to the opinion of one person only. If there was only one video game website then the one person to review the game would be the only way for you to judge whether you should buy it or not. not good...
I don't think they're dead, they're just trying to work on too much all at once. Trying to maintain and update sites as large as OMM and POE. Chet and Erik have other things to do as well, i'm sure.
The Portal Of Evil just underwent a little redesigning, which might explain in part why there's been so little updating at OMM in recent weeks.

Most screen glare which is enough to cause a distration is from pretty direct lighting hitting the screen. It sounds to me like these lighting systems would set up to be more directional towards the walls and celing and such in order to give the room the appearance of glowing. But i could be wrong... I'll just have to wait until i get mine installe to find out!
I wonder if you were to watch that fateful episode of Pokemon with one of these lighting systems in the room if it would flash blue and red lights in the same sequence causing even a greater chance of seizures in epileptics?
"And while I'm at it... it seems Nintendo cares less about the established market, and has their own monopoly on the portable game market... GB color, a game boy you tilt to control the game, etc. If the Virtual Boy was in color..."
No, i didn't say that, but the way you worded this indicated that Nintendo had created a seperate gameboy system that you tilt to control the game. I was just making sure you were aware that the control mechanism was in the new game itself and not in a new gameboy system. I wouldn't want anyone to go into their local retailer and get laughed at by the 16 year old store clerk when they're looking for one of those new-fangled tiltin' gameboys.

As for your judgement call on which system is more powerful, why don't you wait until all the systems you're comparing come out. Just from looking at the system specs so far, the main advantage the GC has over the PS2 is the graphics proccessor power, and everyone knows that for better game performance it's the GPU and not the CPU that really counts. But either way, i'm not standing up making a statement that one system is more powerful than the other... i'll have to play them all first. just have to wait any see... you know... just being logical and all that...
And as far as "arriving a year later" than the PS2 and Xbox... i don't know what little fantasy world you live it, but the xbox isn't out yet...

Tomorrow they sue for linking to a site.

that's actually the game that has the tilt mechanism built into it. you can play the game in a regular gameboy. HUZZAH.
