Do me a favor, pull up the proceedings of the top computer architecture conferences like ISCA (http://www.ee.princeton.edu/~isca2001/PapersWeb.h tm) MICRO (http://www.microarch.org/micro34/advance_program. html) or HPCA (http://www.csl.cornell.edu/hpca7/AdvanceProgram.h tml (I couldn't find an advanced program for HPCA 8 which had affiliations included with the authors list but rest assured, I know for a fact that Intel has at least one paper in that one as well)). Notice one affiliation that consistently shows up? Intel. Notice a name that NEVER shows up? AMD. Bugger off now kindly... thank you...
How does it compare to visual studio 6 (if you've used it recently). Not the visual parts, mostly the debugger, class browser etc. VC++ is the primary reason that, for me, nonwindows is not an option...

Just agreeing with the AC who posted... Your resume seriously sucks from looking at it... not to sound too harsh but it looks like you didn't even try on it... I mean, it would take like 30 seconds to bold some things, center some text, increase the size of some text etc to make it a lot more interesting looking. Also, you didn't list your gpa from whne you got your bachelor's degree. Since you got it 6 years ago I don't know if that info is still relevant though, but my first impression when seeing that you didn't list it is that you probably got less than a 3.0. If that's the case maybe you hsould leave it off, else you better put it on...
