    What is realy bizzare is that everything on the computer has to be checked and blessed
    i guy came into the shop i worked for and landed up loosing a couple days of work since
    his printer required a cable we don't carry (not availible nearby) AND IT WOULD BE A FELONY for him to just buy a new printer!

    a few suggestions
    1 do absolutly nothing with out
          a planning the day before
          b having a written (and copied) document from the PHB accepting blame for the result
    2 arrange thing so that (for security reasons) the servers and raid shells are bolted to the floor (or shelf and the shelf is bolted to the floor) with the bolt heads INSIDE the boxes (this requires the boxes be shut down and opened before they are moved)
    3 have a "get out of jail free" card ready when you smack your phb the next time this is tried

    1 3x the power they need (wall socket) 2 a rack of cattle prods 3 coffee machine snack machine soda machine sandwich machine pizza on speed dial 4 extra servers and bits and bobs 5 a door to the server room that LOCKS and stays locked 6 2 days a month with no contact (roll the ranks) (the bargin is the other 28 is On duty or on call) 7 the ability to print an IT BIBLE that is required reading for the company

    just for the non-geeks in the audience (there might be some) cat 5e is actually eight wires (but only 1 2 3? and 5? are in use (they are colored Blue/Bluewhite and Orange/Orangewhite) bonus GeekPoints with the clip down what is the correct wiring for Straight -Crossover and Rollover cables?

    oaky what you are missing is that in a single engine helicopter there is exactly X ccs of space where an engine can go (this may have a bit of wiggle but..) so given possible engines and performance factors how exactly are you going to put two engines in?? oh btw a couple of things 1 both grub and LILO can be used from removeable media (boot dis[c|k] 2 i think the windows boot loader can be hacked into booting a chainloader or worst case you can use Bootmagic (comes on the Partion Magic cd) (and in your helicopter case isn't it common to have the rotor unhook from the engine if the engine cuts out?)

    The big problem is that as of late the barrier between Mind > Energy > Matter > Mind has grown very very weak. Every GodFather worth his suit can "make a phone call" and have somebody D E A D and in some cases all it would take is a fat finger in some database or a NOPSLED with the correct payload for the job.     personally im "ProLife" but i also think that in rape cases 1 first case he gets to work (in prison) to support the child (or give #largesum to the woman if it does not come to term. 2 second case or later he gets to be on Survior: Cell Block Omega (and his cut of the PPV income goes to the women)

    or how about (since this is a fantasy world anyway) having the following "races"
    Doll/Toy = races that at adult look like human/elf children
    Drone/Golem = non or bisexual beings (aka a Gay race)
    Terraine/Vegan = Plant based Beings (match the plants of home city)

    and add in the current set of races and have some sort of heavy advantages like
    Doll = levels up at 4X speed and draws minerals from ground (but could be attacked because of this)
    Drone= recovers hit points at 8X speed
    Terraine = nearly infinite hit point if in or near water or plants (but of course -#large near fire)

    7 Niffs Of Y

    and given that any of those things may have a vast amount of other uses its the combo that is the problem (and what happens if 4 people each buy parts of the list and some with CASH)

    personally i think that in this case the prison should be somewhere out of the way and have NO NETWORK CONNECTIONS AT ALL (single phone line in just in case with the switch dinked to connect to only 3 locations) For a true Netizen not having access would be a special hell As far as corporal punishment is concerned force should only be used to the exact point needed (crack a guy across the knees to bring him to his...) Now Capital Punishment in the case that there is no/ zero /nadda evidence otherwise (you have 2 years from conviction) then Murder/Treason/ Crimes against women/children and you get to find out what the "next world" is like. For the big crimes (serial/multiple murders / crimes against cops /spree type crimes) You get to be on that Show that is on Pay Per View (but free of charge for Juvie halls) called Survior: CellBlock Omega (the final show is held in a #Large Wild Animal Pit)

    the way it works it hinges on that IF THEN statement if you can prove you have copyright/permission then you don't have this issue but if not then after the penguins get done with you you may have some "men in black" having a "disscusion" with you on the finer points of the Law TSCOG may have fun with LanHam and SOX and RICO and ...

    how about this as a game twist 1have ALL in game "magic" run via a nonmaterial substance called "scryon" 2each person by way of a set of factors ("race" -birth home -random) has a scryon regen factor (over time they generate X amount) and a personal Max Scryon level 3 each of the high level items has a scryon burn rate (each use needs X amount) 4 servants/thralls/employees count as parts of your current scryon level so if you have a dozen with 400 points you have your own points + 4800 to work with 5 each level burns scryon at a rate that goes up in logarithmic fashion per day level 1 =200 level 2 300 level 3 600 (and you have a "health penalty" if you don't have the scryon)

    besides many teachers spend the 2 months not in school recovering from the other 10 months!!

    Heck if you are kidcompatible you may want to volenteer some time in the schools ,(sub in for that "always missing" set of parents or show off your elite hacking skills by helping out with the systems). (you may find that the FPY you need in your old age is in a tech deprived school right now.

    the problem is one of (class type /= "english") it may be better for the student to switch to "Korean" to get the lesson taught and worry about the how-to speak english part later
    its why many of the city missions do feeding/sheltering and then do the preaching.
    (but yes it does smoke me when somebody can't speak english and IS PROUD OF THE FACT)

    okay so you setup the box as follows hda1 = boot drive hda2 =home folder hda6 = rescue partition and give the user a livecd that has the packages to build the rescue partition. so when the user borks the box your friend lilo(grub) gives you 1 normal boot 2 reload boot drive from rescue partition 3 format and reload both partions [cd only] recover resuce partion and format reload both boot and home

    just to throw two comments out 1 the equation is Input - burned = body if somebody is for whatever reason actually burning the fat/calories then it could be healthy for him (not to mention actually DANGEROUS to force a diet change (people go nuts for less (and this gentleman is 252 pounds and commonly throws weights and most likely can bench 3+his weight and posts on /.))) 2 is the Buffalo Snacker any good or is it the normal "i wish i was texas pete sauce"?
