It's not 7% over 4 years. It's 7% a year in 4 of the next 6 years. (In the other two years they can only raise it if there are extra costs due to "security".
The TOS for the site are fully editable (am I the only one that checks every time I see TOS in a text box?). That should make for some interesting agreements.
I wonder if they store the TOS version you agree to. Cause right now they owe me $99 for each page I write and store on their server.

Maybe too many of us have the 1234123412341234 Credit card number?
I can tell you exactly when the story turn sour for me. the introduction of a character who's initials are S. K. there were a few bright spots after that but very few. And the ending? I wanted my time and money back! I should have listened to him when he warned us to stop reading.. "no ending" was better than the real "ending" heck any ending would have been.
Apparently they have: "This is a 9.5 foot couch. It is not 100% complete yet due to how difficult it is to get fedex to deliver to my house these days."
Actualy, he says he ordered 300 boxes, because he ships frequently. And that his furniture was built from those boxes, and that if he needed a box for shipping he would take one out of his furniture to do it.
I have distaste (more so recently) for celeberties who are so because the media or their PR people say they are. (Tom Cruise, et al.)

Well you can't do it officialy, but that doesn't mean it works any worse. I have true HMO on DirecTivo series 2 boxes.
The short answer is www.dealdatabase.com. Their forums are chocked full of Tivo hacking goodness. Be warned: read much, ask little. The board reacts poorly to questions that can be answered with search.
If your unit has a RID # on the back. Hughes SD-DVR40 SD-DVR80 and a few others then you want to look for: 4.x on RID units
Otherwise look for 4.x on Directivo (and ignore anything that refrences RID).
Drop me a line jason ut i40 dut com if you need more info.
Why not Add HMO to your direcTivo? I haev 2 DirecTIvo units running HMO, and I can stream content to my PC, as well as edit out the commercials, and save programming to DVR.
My wife and I got an audio baby monitor that had a motion sensor built in. It slips under the mattress, and alerts you after a 20 seconds of inactivity (Breathing). And it really did help with the peace of mind at night, and cut down on us stressing if our son (now 7 months) was ok. We had 2 false alarms where he had rolled to the far edge of the crib, and the sensor didn't register his breathing, but that seems like a very small price to pay.
I had been working that puzzle for days. me and my 2 roomates.. it was freshman year in college.. I was on my way to class, and all of a suddent he junkmail solution hit me.. I did an about face, and ran back to my dorm room..
Never did make it to class.. or graduation for that matter.
OMG the Dish networks 510? That is awefull. Horrendous. It's the worst PVR Ive ever used.
If you tell it to record friends (normally 8:00 - 8:30) every week. And The network decides to air a 40 minute episode, or change nights, Dish networks system will still record 8:00-8:30 on thursday night. And when retuns start, they will get recorded too. Tivo, ReplayYV, and Time Warners system will all make the adjustment for you automatically.
Columnist James Poniewozik's current article talks about CBS bowing to politcal preasure and not Airing the 4 hr Mini series "Reagans". Perhaps he'd have an opinion on Time Mazagine pulling articles that have already been printed? I asked him perhaps more people should.
I've opened an Old mac Mac 512 "Fat Mac" (With signatures).. And a Tivo (Phillips).
The tivo is Much easier.. T10. (Torx 10). The screws are not rcessed. Covers a little stiff the first time. After that it's cake.
Standard IDE Drive.. First drive upgrade took me 45 minutes (including backups) because my "Assistant" Handed me the wrong drive when it came to reassembling every thing.
Second upgrade took less than 15 (20gb->120gb).
Anyone who can build a PC, and install and use linux can do it easily. Linux is a foreign langauage to me, but the process is well documented.
She once tried to buy the rights to this movie so she could Burry it.. It is an embarrasment to her.. Which is why I advocate watching it.. [If EVER there was a movie MST3k should have dragged through the mud, this was it.]
If you only see one Movie this holiday season, and you haven't seen it*.. Spend the $2 for this cult classic. Afterwards you can tell Hanoi Jane [Fonda] how that is now your favorite movie of hers.
*Assuming you have paid your Microsoft tax and are running Windows, and IE.

Tivo Can do that!
Just not out of the box.
With TivoWebPlus you can set it to start Late or early (unlike the tivo UI), and end early or late (or even.. gasp on time).
Sure it requires a bit of hacking, but the side effect it you can schedule recordings via the web (w/o using tivos HMO features).

I havent used replay and I realy dont know the hackability of them. Can it be hacked so:
I can Program it from any web browser.
I dont have to use the phone line, it pull content via the web.
and
I can pull content off of it, edit out commercials, and save it to DVD in under 30 minutes.
I know I can do all that with a home brew, Im just wondering it it's possible with a Replay.

You can use any PC as a front end for Tivo, either MPlayer or a MythTV plugin (MythTivo). Under Linux, Windows (cygwin), etc.
