  1. Re:Damn... on No More "Asperger's Syndrome" · · Score: 1

Except I didn't have any social problems that I can remember. I was always an active kid and wanted to make friends. However, the teachers kept me away from the kids during free time and recess because they were afraid I might scare them off. Because of the lack of interaction, I never learned how to make friends until well into middle school which was awful.

Finally! I was diagnosed with it years ago and found out fairly recently that it's nothing more than a brain tick. In fact, they had only started testing for it roughly the same year I started school. The hell I went through was embarrassing when you are perfectly fine but everyone treats you like you're some kind of retard. Asperger's shouldn't even be considered a mental disorder unless it's really serious like it cuts into your social life. Some people sing in the shower, others count coins. While psychiatrists might try to fit them into proper mental problems, it doesn't mean they have them. We need to learn that sometimes a tick is simply a tick and that's part of our personality.

To see this taken out of the DSM-5 is the greatest gift any kid with it can have. No longer will they feel outcast, no longer will they have to prove themselves, to rise above the rest of society simply because of a stupid name given by a German doctor. It's too broad of a disease with only one, maybe two specific symptoms. I have tried to get this removed many a time, but they all said that I wasn't qualified, they had the ink tests.

I don't know if it specifically states in the constitution whether or not Congress can pass laws to limit themselves, so I highly doubt that they would not try it unless that's pretty much the only way. I'd rather see this pass than having to riot for the next four years while lobbyists try new, harsher tactics to put iron chains on the internet.

Since Mars has little atmosphere, you can test particle acceleration closer to the vacuum of space.

Magnetosphere, completely forgot about that one. Nukes down a hole that goes to the center of mars? There's a hole in Russia that goes 25 kilometers down, but couldn't go any further because of the extreme heat. Maybe without Vulcanization and plate tectonics, we could go deeper using lasers and machines? Sorry if I sound like I'm jumping back and forth.

Even when a country is going Democratic under it's own power America still has to oversee it to ensure their insurgent gets elected, forcing the nation to abandon it's history and adopt one that may not be the best, but because America has all the nukes, it's the safest?

Seriously though, does it really hurt to change to a slightly better system for the sake of not killing the earth? Americans, rule of thumb, are notoriously stubborn to their ways. You can't simply suggest something, they have to be pushed into it. Look at our outdated standard system which clashes with everyone else. I turned to metric long ago because it was more uniform.

I dare you to look me straight in the eye and tell me that you want to continue using oil, building up awful fumes that lead to respiratory problems. There are places here in America where they actually HAVE to wear a gas mask (I think it was a Shipping port in California that was situated in a valley, but I could be mistaken).

Spreading paranoia will not fix this problem. We were attacked twice and look what happened: Two bombs were dropped on Japan and we're currently invading a Middle-eastern country to force a political system as well as to take their resources for ourselves.

America are not the police. While I don't condemn the actions of WWII, it's history now and I must look to the present. bin Laden's extremists blew up the twin towers and we finally killed him. Why are we still there, having innocent soldiers die for a political cause rather than a noble cause of self defense? The thing Americans need to realize is that pulling out isn't always a defeat. I mean, how long before they figure out that all our men are out in another country, leaving the homeland about as safe as a kitten surrounded by meat grinders?

Stop with the propaganda s**t and start thinking about the country rather than the money made off from starving others.

He makes some very interesting arguments against making games purely for the sake of "Fun." Does the game really have to be about fun? Look at Indigo Prophecy (PS2) or Heavy Rain (PS3). Even Metal Gear Solid, without the guns, stealth, and violence, could have been a very good interactive movie. I would have payed money to watch as snake goes to battle, only to die a little inside. We should really break this habit of making games fun and start exploring other aspects like engaging narrative. We could free the market, setting new standards for better games.

Their best bet is to release the PS4 that breaks the limit of gaming, perhaps with more dynamic gameplay or removing of the controller for the hands and replace it with some cool mind controller.
