Second on that history window. My logs go back to 2001, and trillian ignores them. Well, bits of them. It also ignores parts of the history it doesn't want to read.
The search doesn't work consistantly, and I find myself digging up notepad, like in the good old days, to try to find stuff.
When I was in highschool, I had a great physics teacher. She covered the syllabus, but went that little bit further.
When I had my tesla obsession, she updated her (long standing) teaching notes, to stand corrected to overlooked tesla / edison 'facts', encouraged me to make my tesla coil etc.
The reader that suggested TI-programming could be onto something interesting as well.
Esentially, I think It's not specifically what is taught, but how it's delivered.
Not to take any credit away from your theory, but I thought I'd mention that jet-streams are actually a reasonably rare occurance in australia. Our atmosphere just isn't right for them - as opposed to europe etc, where the sky criss-crosses with them.
I dont pretend to be a meteorologist, but I've onyl ever seen jet streams in australia when there are *no* cumulo nimbus' hanging around. (I'd imagine that you'd need more cirrus conditions for jet streams)..so.. possibly, but unlikely in australia?
I agree totally. I've spent the last 2 years working from home, glued to a screen. I have felt my social skills and general knowledge take a dive over this time.
It's not as if I'm not active otherwise, I dance, take photography and cook - so I'm slightly stumped as to where it's all going wrong, but hey.
This is interesting. I read Valve's punishment for pirates and cheaters, and first thought, hmm that's tough.
But if you think about it some more.. laws for shop lifting are tough. Laws for murder are tough. I'd hate to see myself in a prison cell, so I won't commit crimes.
You'll only get banned from HL if you cheat. What they are donig by handing down extreme measures is maknig things better for you.
DeviantArt is really no good for constructive criticism. It's great if you want to have your ego stroked. Seriously, find the worst peice of art your eyes can bear, read the comments and they'll all follow like "WOW!" "o_0 LOVEIT!!" (_) so sweeet.
It's a place for collective masturbation.
The art is good when it's good. For inspiration, sure, but for constructive criticism, you've hit the wrong place:)
They're not just gadgets in testing, or used in a small part. They're rolled out everywhere, and span every corner of the country.
So when you consider that, it's the proliferation of these 'gadgets' that makes them superior- after all, technology is defined as "The application of science".
And how is this is different from the current situation?
Easy- all of these required physical access to the camera, film or memory stick. With WiFi, none of this is necessary.
RE: Copyright infringement - do you really think if someone has stolen your photo (before you can even peruse it etc) that they're gonig to care for copyright?
You've got to look at the flipside of this. Yes, WiFi may allow it to do all these things, but bear in mind, WiFi is notoriously easy to hack (or the owners have the bad habit of leaving on default passwords), leaving us at a situation where: - Photographs could be wiped? - Photographs could be planted (even worse) - Photographs from one reporter could be stolen by a rival reporter
These would be Toulouse geese. They're lovely creatures, just not against intruders.
And, according to my mother, "they still use them at Dewars or Glenfiddich or whatever distillery in Scotland.. 40 of the blighters"
We used to have a flock of 12, and it will be my undying memory of the entire dozen chasing an exchange student up our driveway, after, despite all warnings, they decided to throw rocks at the geese.
Obviously you've never made your nokia dance. Put it on a flat smooth surface, and ring it. When they vibrate, depending on the ringtone, some will shuffle forwards, others will spin in circles.
Sure, but that's kinda archaeic.
If you're looking at the current 'scene', cracking is software, and hacking is online.
Some people love to use these terms in their original definition, and I'd say that they're quite welcome to - have a gay time!
The age old terminology debate.
Cracking == bypassing software protection
Hacking == Bypassing server protection
Perhaps maybe then you'd prefer Adult DVD Link, why not.

you've only mentioned evil registrars (have a look out there for godaddy horror stories)
:D
www.namecheap.com is good. I can recommend them. And it's only 8.88US a pop, which if you're foreign like me, is about $0.30 in local currency

..hear me out.
I have a lowepro dZone (dryzone) 100 backpack. It's about $250.
I fit:
1x Canon 1vHS
& 17-40mm, 15mm, 75-300, 24-85mm
& Speedlight 550ex, 440ex + cords
1x Horizon 202
1x Lomo LCA
9x Film
1x FAT (almost 2") laptop
2x Full height tripods (Manfrotto 190PRO and 918)
1x Change of clothes, and all other odds and ends.
It's a normal sized backpack. It's also 100% waterproof, and submergable to 5m without any of your gear getting wet.
For the investment of hardware, and a case that doesn't look like a case, I've never ever looked twice at the initial cost.
already done. you can buy different voices for some models, and be cussed at at every turn, as if you weren't already married..
