There was a warning. It wasn't on the level of the exact city chosen, but that was understandable, because we did not have the ability to fly over Japan unimpeded like we did in Afghanistan.

Superman isn't an idiot. He knows to match velocities before he catches her.
I am seriously afraid that you are mistaken. Recently I did tons of projects with normal cheap-ass LEDs and I was generally running them off 15 mA, and they could easily handle more.
Sir, if I write a program for Linux that DDoSes SCO and Microsoft, mail it to a crapload of people, and they all decide to execute it, is there a flaw in Linux?
They're generally rad-hardened and tested not to fail it, which means they don't launch with cutting edge technology. On top of that, the time between building one of these and it landing is years...
A while back I put together a computer for someone and I wound up getting a case that was built without a single screw. Not one, not for the drives, or anything, honest to god.
There were just some great moments in that game - when you come back and Kharak is burning, when you realize the Khadesh are the same people as you but you still have to fight them, and the end when you finally reclaim the Homeworld.
The source just makes the binary of the game. It can't make any of the support files the binary uses - there's no textures, models, sounds, levels, et cetera.
If you've never played it, it has the most impressive capital ships evar. They really convey the sense of scale - it can take a while to fly the length of a capital ship and they shoot beams wider than your fighter - without making you feel ineffectual (e.g. you can destroy those beam cannons if you can deal with the flak and the anti-fighter beams.)
And later on (MILD SPOILER) you're fighting in a nebula, so you can't see anything, which works wonderfully.
To me it seemed contrived that the power generators were all located just above my previous path, disturbing my suspension of disbelief. The return to the Pillar of Autumn, however, was very cool even though it featured somewhat similar reuse.
The excellent gameplay mechanics persisted in the repetitive and indoor Halo areas, however - my only qualm with the gameplay was that on Legendary I sometimes noticed places where enemies would appear as if out of thin air (usually behind a door or something like that) or where infinite enemies would be spawned, which is something else that messes up my suspension of disbelief. I even grew to like the fact that you couldn't quicksave, which made completion of the game much more fulfilling.
I don't think there's more risk to the space shuttle if it services Hubble - rather there's more risk to the astronauts since they won't be able to get to ISS if the shuttle can't make re-entry. The shuttle's broken either way.
You go do that, OK?

I predict the DS will be the next Virtual Boy.

It didn't used to. It used to have the info of some guy in Boston.

The phone number on the WHOIS for wgutv.com will connect you to the guy who wrote the virus... Use this for good, not for evil.

Probably 10 mA, which would be on the low end of where LEDs are generally rated.

I dunno. I have a simple but very strong set of morals.

Having a roommate clickity-click on the keyboard - Mildy annoying.
Having a roommate who is a liar and a scumbag with no moral compass - Truly annoying.

The Earth is made out of dark matter.
You are made out of dark matter.
It's true.

Engineering urinals - a decent job and a boon to society.
SCA meets - not cool. The SCA should be thankful that furries are around to keep them off the bottom of the totem pole.
Tim
You mean having to fix the house, and mow the lawn, and live in the boondocks, and all those joys?

It was generic, even. I can't remember the name, but it was not a major high-end case manufacturer. Cheap, too.

It's hard to remember when the number keeps changing.

In my opinion, is Homeworld. (spoilers follow)

He did a good job on those oxygen tanks.
