Aside from the indemification -- sole ownerships or partnerships and They can sue YOU. Incorporate and they sue the COMPANY. A small difference, but one that could make a huge difference if the lawyers ever get involved.
Hmmm.... aerospace in texas, california, and florida.... and your president announces 5 billion worth of new spending in a year leading up to an election? Pretty clever.:)... how many Republican presidents make a big aerospace committment when they're about to run for their second term? Anyone? I'm curious.
Wow -- Slashdot is in fine form with all the kids home for the holidays. All I'm suggesting is to be aware of the fact that just because you have an opinion doesn't make it TRUE.

Actually, from my visits to the campus, I can say that they have one of the best teams of engineers assembled I've ever seen. Maybe not *the* best, but I'm not surprised we couldn't continue the thread without someone tossing in a negative Microsoft comment.
I clearly said "Eye of the beholder"... but I'll explain it a little more clearly. You point out Britney -- millions of cheering young people will tell you she's the best -- regardless of the validity of the statement.
One man's great game is another man's trash.
Just because you think one company doesn't make good games -- doesn't mean the next guy agrees. In fact -- the share prices above indicate so. Maybe Britney is good. What the hell do *I* know?

I saw the Story and spit my Dr. Pepper all over the screen -- I figured it was about time \. started making fun of David Icke and how he thinks the interior of the earth is inhabited by lizard people.:):)

Good companies don't always make games that sell. Furthermore, third-party developers are becoming extinct -- the publishers have no need for them as they build their own in-house teams.
They've gone away by no fault of their own, save not being acquired three years ago.

Considering he signed/agreed to it when he started working there -- and proceeded to do the work anyways, I'd say it sounds like he was up for the date.

Not likely. He'll be compelled to answer questions their lawyers ask him -- it won't be a situation where they'll just put him up on a soapbox and allow him to jabber away.
The questions will, of course, be very narrow, not open to much interpretation, and designed to further SCO's case.
If anything, this is likely to be a right PITA for everyone involved.
So... like... a DDOS against a chunk of rock? ... heh. Imagine a Beo... nevermind.

Communist.
... I have a friend who tells women at the bar that he's a Hostage Negotiator. ... it works. Sometimes.

I used the same idea in making my patented long-term weather forecasts -- for instance:
This year, expect alternating periods of wet and dry.
Gamecube and Xbox have far superior DACs and scene wide anti-aliasing.
Basically, the video output circutry isn't as good -- and it shows.
Sorry, kid.
You're wrong. Very few games render half height.
It already renders that big moving galleon. :)

Actually, I think KPhone is exactly along those lines.

Well, eye of the beholder really. Which makes for a better business model? As of today:
ERTS: $46.09 + $1.24 (13.75 Billion mkt. cap.)
ATVI: $18.44 - $0.56 (1.64 billion mkt. cap.)
Nobody makes bad games forever. Draw your own conclusions as to who's appealing to Joe Average.

God probably also has a spell checker.

Heh -- David Brent from The Office said:
I only hire lucky people -- I always throw out half the pile of CV's.

I have to agree... I don't see the point of NASCAR. It's like... hillbilly bumper cars.

This is one of the stupidist things I've read on Slashdot lately.
Good point -- missed the flipside, I guess.
