    But a service that receives public funding that is mandatory in order to have a TV should not have political bias. If I want bias I should choose where to get it from. This has nothing to do with choice and is a sad attempt at pushing agendas at people who have become too lazy to fight back.

    This comment, and that comment, were written using a Dell which has parts assembled in China. Unless there is a worker revolution in China, which currently seems unlikely, it will continue to be like that until we have either fully automatic assembly plants or there is a genocide.

    In no place in my comment did I allude to the hypocrite slactivist worker-solidary type, I just stated the obvious.

    I'm not yet a father, but if I have kids I will never subject them to something like this. I'm also the guy that does not bring a cellphone to the office because I don't feel the dependency. There are plenty enough gadgets in this life tracking us every second thank you very much.

    Well, if you live in an area which is (historically) earthquake prone, then saying it is not going to happen is not going to make much sense, especially if you are an authority on the subject. It always pays to be cautious on these things. Look at Japan. They have been telling stories about "the big one" for many years and it finally happened last year.
