    I still use an iPhone 4 with iOS 4 and it works just fine. I don't have the fancy streetview but at least I get directions and position.

    Then you are doing it wrong. JPEG is the last resort, usually for those who have no idea or some legacy technical issue. Lossless is beauty.

    And I can use it fine for days. I see no reason to upgrade ever. I am also getting tired of smartphones and don't follow or buy into the hype anymore. They're all surveillance equipment now.
