Sounds like attempted murder to me, but maybe I have a loose set of moral/ethical values.

MY best freak out was in AVP2 where after you go into the part of the bas that had been converted by the aliens for the first time. No monsters, just steam, low visability and your motion tracker. Right near the exit as I was leaving, I swore I saw an alien looming out of the steam and I freaked, unloaded the pulse rifle into the area around me.

My wife and our housemate at the time had a good laugh at that.

One possibility you do not explore is to have a plant in the crowd of protesters who shoots at the troops and causes things to get out of hand. I believe this happened once in Iraq (or was it Afghanistan). I remember hearing a news report about the incident.

My point was to make no sense. The posts in the chain all were euphemistic to me, so I though I would add something that only when looked at the really wrong way could be euphemistic. Sorry I came out of left field like that.

I bought a Sony Grand Wega 42" TV for my new house and was supprised when I found a 4 page GNU/GPL license in the box. The TV apparently runs on the Monta Vista Linux kernel and has some other executable packages along with it. I guess that explains the 5 sec "boot" time before I see a picture.
