Yah. Nothing gets you on peoples good side faster then assassination. I think there is a fundamental brain malfunction going on on both sides. I propose that we capture both set of of leaders and dunk their heads in ice water (not as tourture but maybe they will start to think clearly) untill they can stop being asshats.

I dunno what magical Blockbuster you have near you, but where I live, you are lucky to find a copy of Nada III.

Blockbuster had at best 2 shelving units for Xbox and Gamecube and maybe a whole 4 for PS2 (compared to a whole row of units for 1 systems Carts back in the Cartridge days.

All the video game selection I have seen at Blockbuster in the last 5 years has been sports/wrasslin type games and old unpopular games that some fool in purchasing was convinced would be a HOT item. At best they got 1 copy of any good RPG or other game, and half the time they would never even get a game you were hoping to try out before you bought it.

Thats why I havnet bothered going into a Blockbuster except when I need something faster then when Netflix or Gamefly can get it to me.

What are you trying to imply? In my GTA games prostitutes are well respected tradespeople who provide a valuable service. Money is never a problem in GTA so what need is there to kill them? I wish Rockstar had put in some logic that if you started killing them the cops would be a bit more aggressive in red light districts and the prostitutes would stop offering services/call the cops on you.

"I am committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the President next year" is the exact quote. It was written by the CEO of Diebold as part of an invitation to a political fund raising event for federal republican campaigns (Bush would have been one of the benefactors).

It has no other meaning then he intended to give Bush another term IMO. Your second suggestion as to what it means makes no sense any way I can look at it. Can you explain how it can make sense?

Last I heard, Muslims didn't even object to that. They ran this same version for the last 3 or so years with no complaints.

What happened (as reported on NPR) was some troublemaker called into the local police in the middle of the off season and said how dangerous it was because Muslims might be offended. The police had no idea WTF he was talking about and the Opera company had not gotten any threats. The first the opera company heard of this was when the police came around asking about the phone call they got.

Since the opera people are idiots they canceled the show instead of removing the added scene (not in the original as you state) and given the performance that had the same message.

I'm almost ready to sign up for experimental space colony work as a 98% chance of a horrible death in space is starting to look preferable to being here with idiots (TSA, Opera directors, etc.). That isn't to say I don't have my own idiot moments.

In real life imagine how long it takes to display every file being backed up on a unix server to a 9600 baud console. Now imagine you are using U320 SCSI tape (Ultrium, DLT, DDS). Without out showing all the file names the process takes about 7 minutes (about 20-30 GB as I remember) With the screen output it takes over an hour. The backup software logs all this same information to a file, but guess what output type is default/forced by the programmers?
