I have been serfing with netscape since 0.9 I was using Mosaic
before that but has anyone else been anoyed to hell about the
way IE dumbs down your surfing experiance?

I just cleared a virus infection on a win 98/nt server network
certain clients were doin the same thing it was a leftover file from
a virus I removed can't remember the virus name but it is new
It was detected in july the file was c:\windows\system\winit.exe
not c:\windows\winit.exe
and a reference in the registry about quasi.hqx(thats not spelled right)
but I don't know a thing about win2k so this might not mean shit

back when I used a APPLE IIGS
computers didn't double clock rates every 6 months (or what ever)
I used that computer for several years after it was discontinued
and there were a group of programers in france called FTA
(free tools association) that did some really AMAZING stuff
by pushing the IIGS's capabitlities farther then anyone had done
when the IIGS was in it's prime.
It just makes me wonder what programmers would do with todays
technology if no new advavces came out for 5 years
why does everyone start a flame war over what is meant to be a good announcement?
Maybe people should focus more on the good FACTS of the announcement
and less on someones personal feelings
