    We had 50 dell P133's and 486's they connected to the unix server by digiboard (serial) and they were over kill I could have used 386's but you can't find any at least we only paid 20 bucks each for the dell's but when they originally put in the 486's (3 years earlier) they cost almost $200 each

    Thats why all the polling is done after 4 pm It's a total money drain trying to get surveys before 4 because nobody is home and you have a room full of callers calling empty houses and old folks

    On a side note: does anyone know if they survey all of the likely voters in a household, or just the person who answers?
    They are supposed to ask for a specific person that they have in thier sample but in reality they talk to anyone they can get to answer the questions.

    I have seen a lot of sloppy polling. You have the big problem of the callers cheating, faking data and all kinds of crap you wouldn't belive. when they say + or - whatever % don't belive it for a minute

    How many people do you know who have more than 1GB of RAM in their home or office PCs?
    Ive had 1.5 gigs of ram in my dual 533Mhz G4 for about 4 years now. And most of that time I had 3 20" monitors on it also.

    Why would anyone choose the "iPod copy" if they can get "iPod original" from the "cool" Apple at the same cost?
    because believe it or not not everybody has heard of the iPod
    This will open the iPod to new markets
