    20% + 15% ? Where did you get the idea that the overall system was going to be 75% more efficient? It'd be 20% + 15% of 20%... from 20% to 23%.

    *Cars* are about 20% efficient max. The ICE sits idling in traffic, variable speeds etc. Increasing the engine efficiency by 15% is a kludge and only increases the overall efficiency of the whole system by a couple of percent. Expensive waste of time.

    If you're only getting a 15% boost in efficiency. Cars are only about 20% efficient and that's if you have a really efficient one. A 15% increase is like going from 15% overall efficient to 17%. This is just a kludge.

    There's a much simpler and more effective solution... Go full electric drive hybrid. Decouple the engine from the drive.

    It's *ADVERTISING*... The more you pay the more you get... Did anyone really ever believe any different? The more you pay the bigger the incentive Google has to stick *your* advert on someone's page and on the more popular pages at that. Now say DOH! and slap your forehead.

    The Yuan (and thereore the people/products) are undervalue for now. China have got the currency floating marginally at the moment, its making a few percent per annum difference it needs to be allowed to float in a wider band.

    And why clones are a dead end. All the monocultures are busy passing diseases around. THIS is why sex exists guys and gals. It's why having more than one computer platform even though expensive, is a good idea. They act as natural barriers.

    Oh and for those of you who believe in reducing support costs by using a single platform... Nature already decided against that. The diseases, viruses are going to increase in number and sophistication until it's cheaper to run several platforms. Might as well start now, get some practice. :)
