    The video wasn't better from the standpoint of 3D, but the video cards inside the TVs were better than most conventional ones at the time. Playing movies from a hard drive on my 3D TV(I never used the 3D) definitely saw better processing that with my non-3D TV. That was playing .mkv, .mpg/mpeg, and .avi formatted movies. Most of the time it was all in the formatting, but when KAT was around, you get what you get. 3D seemed like a gimmick, and it turned out to be. Now we have 4K TVs and I do think those are way better than 3D TVs.
