    yeah, I saw the numbers were going up .. just as the flood and extra quake hit the area ..

    Private doners in Denmark will probably match the government number as well, but I haven't seen any sums yet.

    Officially funded Newyears celebrations in several countries have been cancled and the funds directed to the help instead.

    As of writing, the numbers were correct.

    Now the "per capita" number for US has gone up by a factor of 10.

    I don't have the latest numbers from Denmark.

    Private contributions are still not counted.

    Denmark: 300M DKR (USD$55M) at a population of 5.4M .. that's $10,14 per capita ..
    USA: USD$45M at a population of 293M .. that's $0,15 per capita

    both theese sets of numbers are what the Government provides, not what is collected privately. (no taxreductions are given for donations in Denmark)

    I guess that every country will give what it can.

    ..and after buying Windows and installing Firefox, you will not have any problems with IE thus making your Windows experience much better. (so I agree with you: "why would Microsoft care?")

    Using mozilla on Linux will not change anything, you don't have the option of running IE anyway (without wine, but why would you do that?)

    There is a LONG way from switching browser to switching OS..

    It's just recycling the drinking water that's the problem.

    Are the weight problems the same all over the country or is it only in highly populated areas where the access to "used only once" drinking water is non existent?

    Some girls find that they don't have their period, when they visit England .. too high hormone contents in the drinking water or something like that..

    There hasn't been anything like this in the Indian Ocian the last 300 years (longer than history, for you, mr. A.C.) which is partly why they don't plan for things like this.

    As of now, 78.000 people have been confirmed dead in the area. Officials expect the number to reach (100.000) one hundred thousand, from several different countries. .. and you tell them to fend for themselves? wow!

    I had sort of figured out s/moviename/other keyword/ , but I must admit that I hadn't used the filetype: method before. :-)

    The MPAA/RIAA are fighting against the sea, thinking that they are beating it back because of the tide. There will come a flood, make no mistake. On the other hand, they HAVE to fight, because this is the foundation of their world. If they let go, they loose everything. So, they have to hold as hard as they can, for as long as they can .. in the end, they will loose though.

    I have this little program called "SharePod" that can run directly from the device ..

    Apple don't want to include iPod to PC copying in iTunes because of the deal with the recordlables concerning iTMS. But that doesn't mean that you can't offload everything in a consistent manner.

    BUT, it's on The Internet the illegal downloading *phaeu* is taking place. Those other nets that you talk about are not significant at all, no Sir, not at all.... what is the bandwidth of an iRiver/iPod changing hands?
