Perhaps they're ignorant, perhaps they're not, but the prospect of my peers and my government deciding whether or not I'm smart enough to enter into an economic arrangement of my own free choice is downright scary.
Yeah, let's have the government protect us from the the free-market and pre-decide that people aren't smart enough to evaluate opportunities presented by evil businesses.
The USA allows natural monopolies as a practicable matter, where alternatives wouldn't make sense due to the capital/resource requirements. But why are we allowing duopolies to become monopolies?
I would venture to guess that the majority of Mac owners do not fall under the category of power users, where they would be inclined to experiment with a much less user/noob friendly platform as Linux is vs OS X. Their Sales VP needs to burn the midnight oil to come up with a plan that lights a fire under the sales team to return the company to the explosive sales growth they used to enjoy.
He's been saying for years that our phones are being used as spying devices. Most wrote it off as an extreme view, even those who are sympathetic to Stallman's causes. Turns out he's been right all along.
The federal bribery laws apply at all levels, including international. If you can produce evidence that AT&T bribed state and local municipalities then I'm sure the feds would be all ears.
Not sure why the researchers behind this study think their findings are unique or somehow specific to lying. The brain is supremely adaptable to learned behavior, stimuli, even physical damage.

It's entrepreneurship because you get to decide when, where, and how much you work.
Which is what these government employees (judges) are. No concept of entrepreneurship, self-sufficiency, or free-will.
Just look back what came out five years ago on Android phones and that is what's coming next for iPhones.
