    they really need to get over themselves... they think that they are trying to get more money for the artists, but they are reallly just greedy. if i recall correctly, like 70% of movie profit goes to the producers and the MPAA. noone has any issue stealing from ppl who are incredibly wealthy and dont need more money. If you ask a lot of actors, they would say that they make plenty of money already and they have no issue with pirates.

    holding your arm out for long periods of time causes a lot of strain on the muscles. i would gather that ppl who use these touchscreen laptops will after a while start growing muscle in their main arm. kindof like ppl who fap too much.

    it is incredibly foolish to believe that humans are responsible for the melting of the polar icecaps. one volcano eruption puts off more CO2 than all of the emmissions that humans have put out since there were humans. how many eruptions are there on average per year? yea... a lot.

    at some point in the next 50 years, someone will invent a quantum printer that prints objects based on quantum configuration. in this case, the printed object would be an exact copy of the object it is copying.... this would be an amazing feat for the world. why? because you can print whatever you want out of whatever you have. you could turn a brick of lead into a fully working ibook. the benefit of this is that everything would cost the same.

    unless of course it was a printed model of an object that is normally made out of paper. in the case of a phone... sure, it wont work as a phone usually would... but i would imagine that if you wanted to make a plastic sex toy as someone posted above, and you used a 3d printer that created objects with plastic, it would work and make a perfect copy.

    google fiber will eventually spread out to the entire country... and they are also pushing to becoming wireless service providers. both of these will affect verison

    as far as your comment goes about hardware not working right... i run double monitor on my linux... you really just need to get proper drivers for your gpu. i suggest kmod-nvidia.

    valve is starting to push towards linux development... both with hardware and with software... we will see how it works out after the first steam client is released

    according to patents, it is against the law to sell anything that someone has a patent on... however, you could if you spent the time, create a do-it-yourself instruction set on how to build a smart phone. this, according to patent law, is frowned upon, but is unpunishable. you can build whatever you want for yourself (or for giving away for free), even if it is patented

    i believe razer synapse is what it is called... i use it quite a lot, and it is really nice for multiple computers... or even going to a friend's house or a computer lab with your mouse. it automatically syncs all settings. of course.... it isnt necessary to use synapse, you CAN manually set up your mouse every time

    for the most part, those who are introverted tend to come off as arrogant. whether they are actually arrogant or not is a different story. the reason this is the case is that they tend not to socialize with others much(outside of video games where they can act like someone they are not), so they dont have as much education as to what to say and what not to say to others. im speaking from experience here, as i am a CS major... and i am quite arrogant

    yea, the main reason that we cant ever get a third party to win is because of winner take all states. even if the third party had the vast majority of the votes, they would still lose the election because they wont win anything but swing states.
