  1. Communism can work on China Lays More Fiber, Improving Physical Connection To the Worldwide Internet · · Score: 1

You just have to be practical about it instead of dogmatic and mix it with capitalism where needed.
Sure China is a way too communistic and controlling for my taste, but the stupendous US dogma where capitalism and religion are supposed to magically fix everything is no better.
Funny how China has better internet than the US.

Important because they have a lot of users. It's a direct restriction of freedom. China seems to do it mostly to protect the dogma's they base their rule on. Also they say such a big country can not be ruled with democracy and freedom.

My solution would be to let go of the dogma's, they could explain why it's better to be moral. And give local government more political power so they need less oppression.

Much of that comes from religion. Cancer is accepted as a decision from god. But a Terrorist attack shows there are people who don't want freedom (most religious people want freedom now because religion has lost in the western world). This is shocking to many. Also because human behaviour is considered to be much more preventable: 'Can't we just oppress those who think differently a little bit more? Then we won't have to think about why they did it in the first place.

Aparently there is no such thing as lessons learned for these guys.

Even more so with these guys. So what we must do is try to understand the underlying problem.

In my opinion that's religion. It blocks people's ability to think rationally about something because of indoctrination.
We should stop supporting religion. People are free to believe whatever they want, but they should pay for it themselves.

More police power just reduces the freedom we have, which is exactly what these terrorists want.

Guns and knives on the airplanes on 9/11 would have prevented the terrorist attacks. Of course not. If there had been guns and knives it would only make things easier for the terrorists.
