The worst storm I've witnessed in my life was during the 90s. Most people around here would agree with me.

I'm not a denier, at all. But telling all of us "do this or else it'll get worse!" when nobody truly knows for sure, is why there are still a lot of people who dismiss climate change.

Average people are really fucking sick of the whole "the sky is falling!"

No. People aren't going to PAY 40$ a month (or any amount for that matter) to invest. That's silly and you know why because you explained the reason people don't seem to "care" about the 0.5% yourself. They don't even notice it. It'll hurt when they run the numbers once it comes retiring time; but not as much as if they didn't invest for retirement at all, like most people nowadays seem to do.

Every player in autonomous vehicles has a ton riding on the fact that if they're first (or near) to market and don't kill a bunch of people in the process, they will be rich beyond belief. This alone is enough to assume "proper testing" is being done.

Besides, they can't be worst than even the "good" range of bad drivers currently on the road. My cousin rear-ended a parked car on main street because he could only be bothered to clean out a tiny bit of his frozen windshield. He's a smart guy otherwise, that kind of carelessness would get him killed with his everyday work, but what I'm trying to say is, people do stupid shit sometimes, and those same people get behind the wheel everyday.
