This is going to be great for my wife's collection of DVDs and CDs. A simple remote, a large hard drive, iTV and iTunes on the PC. No more struggling with the DVD player which sometimes plays those foreign DVDs/CDs and sometimes rejects them. I'm looking forward to this!
The only ulterior motive mentioned was to know the content of the games which is certainly a good thing. I like to know what my son is getting bombarded by daily so that I can combat anything I think is negative.
I just enjoy the games and the time spent with my son. I also like to game with him because it lets me see how he reacts to competition in a friendly environment. I get to give him advice on how to handle winning and losing.
I do live in Colorado and I don't shop at the Gap and we only have one income and live in a condo in a less expensive area. I can't imagine trying to get by with 53K in the Bay.
Sure $53K is nice, but considering that most programmer/high tech people live in places with a high cost of living, it isn't acutally that much. Factor in housing, commuting, divorces, taxes and retirement and you end up just getting by. Add an emergency and boom...
On the old PLATO system there was an instant messaging called term-talk. I was using that way back in 1979 and I'm sure it's from even earlier than that.
I just went to a bunch of stores looking for a GameCube and finally found some at Walmart. Looked like they had just gotten a shipment in since they had about 5 in stock. There were XBox's each place I looked though.
There is no mention of genetic engineering in the article. They are an unknown variety from Hungary that still need to go through taste testing and market quality tests before they become available.
"We tested a wide range of different varieties that have come available fairly recently which organic farmers have no experience with," he told Reuters.
At the very last minute we took on a variety that two Scottish enthusiasts gave us which were from Hungary. It really did amazingly well in trials against blight, and it also had the best vigor -- it grew like a weed on a very low-nutrient soil. "
Take a look at the ebsq group for self-representing artists on eBay and other auctions sites. You can find great art and get to deal with the artist directly!

My son is 3 and he uses linux. He opens and closes windows and clicks and types. He would be an excellent GUI tester. He has managed to hang up my KDE environment multiple times.

Like wiping your ass with silk...
No, he looks like a kid who thinks he has the best dad in the whole wide world. That is one happy kid!
No, only one of two on the whole planet. I refuse to use and buy cell phones as well.

Maybe it went from 80% to 46% because the book wasn't any good. At least, that is what I thought about it.
Microsoft could have bid (and maybe they did) on this conditional contract and won it just as Apple did. It is not essentially the same thing.

Talk about getting greasy palms.

These aren't bioengineered bugs they are Yellowstone bugs. Already out there in the environment.
