Unless you are just slow, it doesn't sound like the average fifth grader would know that either. Hardly fodder for a show about outsmarting fifth graders.
RTFS: "The compound could provide a 'double whammy' by not only inoculating the patient against future infection, but destroying an HIV infection in progress."
It's interesting though, that real-word records management systems are not obtuse phone-home DRM systems. Most organizations that actually care about this stuff have people that, well, care about this stuff. And they have no problem going out and deleting the stuff that they need to delete when it needs to be deleted. They just need a system that tells them when to do what in order to comply with their policies.
Using Places is like paying per minute for domestic long distance, you can do it, buy why? Pardon me? How is it anything like that at all? I don't have any problem paying per minute for domestic long distance. If you don't make a lot of long distance calls, it can be cheaper than a flat-rate plan. But, I guess I also keep separate bookmarks at home and work, so maybe you are onto something.
Seriously. Even Wikipedia knows that. From quantum entanglement:
Although no information can be transmitted through entanglement alone, it is possible to transmit information using a set of entangled states used in conjunction with a classical information channel. This process is known as quantum teleportation. Despite its name, quantum teleportation cannot be used to transmit information faster than light, because a classical information channel is required. .
Yes, that was covered in the article:
The deal could make it easier for the major networks to make their most popular shows available on demand free, according to the report.

Hmm... if calling the phone doesn't work, I can't imagine that Bluetooth signal triangulation would. For that to work, you would need the phone to be (1) powered on, and (2) within Bluetooth range. Assuming that the phone isn't on silent (and why would you be calling it otherwise), and assuming that Bluetooth range is shorter than earshot, you wouldn't have a whole lot of luck. My guess is the phone is lost, or the battery is dead.

4. Participant agrees not to do the following, except with the advanced review and written approval of Google: (a) issue or release any articles, advertising, publicity, or other matter relating to this Agreement (including the fact that a meeting or discussion has taken place between the parties) or mentioning or implying the name of Google." IANAL, and maybe I'm missing some context here, but it says that you can't mention or imply the name of Google. It doesn't say you can't mention or imply the name of Google in the context of the Agreement. I don't see how one could read it otherwise.
I meant "fair in the eyes of the law". That's all that really matters here. I didn't mean to say that Google is gaining an unfair market position by buying DoubleClick. What I meant was that it is possible to create a monopoly without using underhanded tactics.
Kind of like X?

Who cares? SoundExchange collects regardless of copyright status.
It was in the summary!!!
Isn't that why they ask for my account number?

So you work for the government?
Right then. So you agree that they fundamentally rewrote Vista.
But ... but ... a one-time pad is unbreakable[*]. Not practical for general encryption usage, but still unbreakable.
[*] Given a truly random key which is kept secret and used only once.

How about this one at Cafe Press?
Yes, I remember how well that worked when Microsoft had patent issues with SQL Server. Hmm. Well, it was a nice thought.
I believe the Slashdot editors are American, which is why the American spelling was used.
How about bringing back programs that teach us how to spell words like "minuscule"?
YouTube has Brainy too.
