    The OP was about the double standard between "normals" and high ranking political figures. It was blatant that Comey was on Hilary's side and did not actually investigate her.

    The second point about the FBI investigation only solidifies the point. The IRS did target organizations based on key words and phrase that had political meaning. The evidence was there. The fact that the FBI did nothing shows we hold a double standard in our justice system.

    Actually the ones overstepping their authority within the government are the traitors. They have spit on the rights of the people they were entrusted to protect. They should be hung for treason. Since they have some control over policy, they have it set up so patriots like Snowden are the criminals. See how that works?

    DARPA was flying a beetle around with a remote control in 2006ish. Its been a whole decade. Since then, from what has been published, they have made significant headway with mammals (rats, monkeys, dogs).

    Non-invasive forms of mind control have been in development for some time with research papers going back to 2013: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.... If it is in the public's hands, it's been in DARPA's longer as they have been doing this kind of research for over a decade.

    While I'm not some crazy conspiracy theorist and I do believe we are still short of controlling people, it's not as far off as we may think.

    First of all, not all companies have stockholders. Secondly, it would depend on where the money came from, stockholder investment or reinvested profits.

  22. 20+ years at $50,000 in SV is just sad. My point was you are either a really bad IT professional only worth $50K a year or complacent to the point were you only value yourself at $50K a year.

  23. Funny enough, HP's outsourcing company outsourced their work to these guys at NASA. It's like a big circle jerk with the taxpayers in the middle.

    Seems like you are stretching for an excuse to hate on libertarianism. The key difference between a private company and a government pissing away money and man hours is one is using their own money and the other is using the tax payer's money (I'm lumping government contractors in with the government in that case).

    The government is notorious for having so many layers of crap bureaucracy. Many companies do as well but when someone like HP waists money internally, who cares? They are a failing business anyways. When HP waists government money, however, then they are just as bad as the government squandering money.
