  1. Right.. Next will be LG coming with TVs with Nortan AV installed

  2. I see a pattern with Chrome.. the faster it gets in loading pages with every update slower it makes our computer. Where are they going with this ?

  3. I hate AVs in computers itself so never install it. But I guess we won't be able to uninstall it from TV.

Lets look at potential issues with this

    Performance issues with TV
More internet usage for AV updates [That goes from our bill ]
Random removal of TV apps which are considered as virus by AV
    Annoying messages for AV updates
Annoying messages for upgrading to premium version
    What else?

I am a Model 3 consumer and I definitely recommend Model 3, it is a game changer.

Agree with credit card but not with personal computing device because that number of plenty of people is reducing every day. I can see that even in a developing nation like India where I come from. I would have never thought that smartphone would penetrate rural and old age market but I was really surprised. I always thought that our previous generations would just stick with land phones or basic phones, but I was proven wrong. Even my mom who is not at all a gadget/tech savvy has a smartphone now. They just don't use it as much as the current generations. What would happen when their generation is gone and current and future generations are left.
I think after 100 years you will rarely find people without a personal computing device, Only those who are absolutely against smartphones will be left behind. Same can happen for digital money. Personal computing devices will make credit cards obsolete, next would be paper money.

Remember even with paper money it's just a database record anyway, the paper really never holds that value. So it's need is obsolete already,

We have full autonomy, but they are not allowed to call it self-driving, yet, because you legally can't have full-self driving, it must still be human assisted. The software is also not good enough yet, and not vetted enough yet to take the human away from the equation either. So even if the Tesla was capable of doing all that stuff, it cannot be called 'self-driving.'

  24. Tesla has never said that AutoPilot safe enough that it wont require a person, in fact AutoPilot will never replace drivers. What Tesla said is AutoPilot drivers attention and take over when needed. Things may be different when they bring Fully autonomous aka "FSD" but until then drivers need to be careful when using AutoPilot and not abuse the system.
Keep in mind though that FSD is not just a technical challenge there are many legal issues around it which needs to be resolved.

Tesla AutoPilot is considered safer because it is a machine which can maintain its attention span for as long as it drives and unlike human beings won't get tired with long drives. It may also be safe for judging certain aspects like distance, speed better than human driver. However, it is not better in making all kind of decisions which is done by its AI component. So I think it probably has a good hardware but the software needs much more improvement to replace a human driver.
