    Back in 1985 I learned Lisp on the Osborne 1. I had to pay for the software! And, it took about 2 weeks just to find a version of Lisp that would run on the Osborne 1. Those were the days!

    I lived near Lubbock Texas. The local station didn't carry the first season of Star Trek. The second season was rebroadcast the following Saturday afternoon.

    They did carry the third season in prime time.

    Not sure why.

    My son created a Final Fantasy page in 1996. It hasn't been updated since then. We have not had an account with the ISP since 1997.

    His page is listed in the 7th position after doing a Google search.

    Maybe it's a popular page after all these years.

    I drove about 50 miles just to see Star Wars
    in a digital theater. It was worth it!

    Wouldn't the cost start to come down as more theaters go digital?

    I met a lady taking super 8 movies for a
    class. The film costs $8 minute. $12 for 3
    minutes of film and $12 to get it developed.

    Wouldn't take long to pay for a nice digital
    8 camcorder.
