Sure, Epsilon Eridani may be "Puny" but it has one thing going for it...
Epsilon Eridani is a cool freaking name. A lot better than "Sol" anyway.
Besides that, planets are overrated. Give me life on a space habitat any day of the week. (Yes, I understand the implied irony of that last statement.)
Actually, after reading this had happened, out of curiosity I grabbed a copy of this song.
It is my theory that the record company is pissed about this song being out there because it, frankly, sucks ass.
And that's in the context of sucking ass as a Madonna song, so you know it sucks ass like 1000% more than other stuff. It's the Battlefeild Earth of MP3's.
The really amazing thing was that the tires morphed from nice round road wheels when they were on the road, to big knobby offroad ones when they werent.
Here is a tip: check out auctions and old retread hardware places. I got mine at a surplus hardware auction at a local college. Using other keyboards is almost physically painful for me, as they let the user get away with bad hand position. Those old IBM keyboards force you to use proper hand position and placement, or you know it almost instantly.
Not to mention, they are indestructable. My boards were used by legions of CS majors for several years before I got them, and they are like they were brand new. Clicky too!
One of the things that Steve Jackson did was to expand the Illuminati Online BBS into a fully fledged ISP. I signed on for telnet access years ago, mainly to get free access to the GURPS playtest files, and have stayed there because of the flexiblity that having the account has given me. It was my first brush with a unix enviroment, and I loved it. Even though I have changed ISP's more times than I can remember, I have kept the IO account live so that anyone who wants to contact me has always had the same address.
IO is also a strong linux supporter. All the servers there are running under some free software of one type or another, and you have pretty much a free hand in what you want to run off of your website, as far as mySql, php, etc..
Not to mention, having a nice, short domain name is a plus.

Time to start running Gnutella!
No, not pixels. Feet.
Heck Polaroid did it years ago, how much harder could it be for digital technology?
Well, I sure like the Palm OS.
Mea Culpa
Thus, Bad = posting scathing diatribes in the style and form of Rosan Rosannadanna.
Thank you, I'll be here all week
That's worse torture than I would have wished upon him, but.. hey (shrug) Take what you can get, right?
Um, he didn't leave, he was fired.
It seems to me that the best thing Napster could have done was to issue the Offspring a license to produce the stuff they were selling.
Yet another shorthand:
"INADSEAL"

At the very least, it makes politics more interesting.
Swallows.
Alright, some one out there in moderator space, stop downchecking the trolls and boost this one up to 5, please. Excellent.
You must not have read the follow up: They defined the rotation correct for MS Earth (tm). The planet just isn't in spec yet.
All puns intentionally implied.
Things sound cooler when said in latin.-Rough translation of my sig.
My favorite quote so far was off of aint-it-cool-news.com, where one early veiwer said that the plot was "Porn-movie-bad".
Now, that's bad.
No, I don't think this is a good thing either.

Its infuriating that Microsoft gets away with doing underhanded things like this. How long until we start seeing MS-TCP/IP?
I can only hope that the oft-rumored goverment sanctions come down soon and hard and help to discourage this kind of stupidity.

It's fun to leave laying on your desk, or off in a break room at work. (once you are done with it.)
