If it was self-imposed by the Time Lords, the Master could have just ignored their edict, since regeneration can't rely on Gallifrey.
Obviously it's just a story, so they can change it any way they like, but I'd like to see them do more than just retcon, and actually have something happen to the Doctor to extend his regenerations. They could have explained it as absorbing energy when destroying Gallifrey during the time war, but just saying it was voluntary is weak.
12 regenerations probably seemed like plenty to the writers back in the day. I doubt anyone expected the show to go on for this long.
Having Moffat write occasional fantasy episodes was fine, and resulted in some great Doctor Who, but turning the whole series into a fantasy show was a mistake. They should have a science fiction fan at the helm.
I'd like to see him as an evil 12th regeneration of the Doctor, that steals new regenerations like the Master did on Traken. They have to do something to get around the regeneration limit; Why not have an evil doctor for half a season, then have the 13th regeneration full of regret like nine.
>Playing these kinds of games with a console controller is like assembling a ship in a bottle with long, clumsy tongs. Without the feeling of pride, just irritation.
Not really. The playstyle is just different, and some people have trouble adapting. Keyboard and mouse sucks from the couch, and less and less people game at a computer desk. I'll take a 360 controller with the dual analog sticks over a keyboard and mouse for PC gaming in my home theater.
Kinect should be very good on the new console. It's pretty good on the 360, allowing games that make you more fit rather than sitting on the couch, but currently has a slight delay in recognition. This is supposed to be significantly reduced in the new console. Obviously it's not a good fit for many games, but for fitness, one-on-one sports, and dance games it's great.
It's very unlikely that an employer would hold a grudge against a former employee to the point of sending the cops after him. That would be terrible for business.
It seems more likely that they were simply concerned that a disgruntled former employee was looking into making bombs. Insecure people who are fired do tend to lose their minds.
I really doubt that a significant segment of tablet users are so sick that they spend significant time on the toilet.
If you're in the bathroom long enough to even need reading materials, something is very wrong.
If the gaming PC is also the home theater PC, and your wife/girlfriend is watching something, this could be useful. This assumes the streaming PC can be used for other things while streaming the game.
Based on the comments at Anandtech, I bought a GameKlip this morning. It seems like the better option for emulation than this device if you already have a PS3 controller and an android phone or tablet, and I have no use for streaming games to this instead of playing them on the big-screen.
Neither do most of mine. I do have a blu-ray burner in one PC, but have never used it to burn, and only used it to read a Bluray once. That Bluray failed to play in 3D, and was then played on my PS3.
I think I'm done with optical on a PC unless they come up with a 5TB disc that writes quickly to be used as a backup medium. Hard drives are just too large and low-cost for optical to make sense in most use cases.
Too cowardly to post under your own name while insulting people? Sounds like you're one of the Twitchy twits. The AC complained about harassment, and then linked to a site that gives nutjobs their marching orders to go harass people on Twitter. At the very least the post was hilariously ironic.
Threatening anyone is wrong.
You linked a troll site created by the hate-fueled M. Malkin, that organizes nitwits to go derp on Twitter. Try to do better.
Yep, horrible theme music sets up viewers to not like what they're going to see. Skipping it really does help.
I thought it was getting good in its final season, and yes, it's all better than Voyager.
Nice. I put in some outlets with built in USB at home, and really like the convenience. I can charge 2 devices at the same time, plus two more with power adapters in the AC outlets. They were from ThinkGeek, but I expect they're available elsewhere too.
The lightning end is easy to plug in, but so would MicroUSB since you're plugging it into a well-lit device near your face.
The lightning to PC cable is just USB on the other end though, and that's the end that plugs into the poorly-lit back of the PC, and sometimes takes me three tries to get right because I don't want to force it. Apple solved a problem that didn't exist, but it would be nice if we could eventually move to an easy to plug in standard for back of the PC ports.
Weird. I used a standard cable and got nothing. I found a website that told me that you have to use the original cable, and that solved what I had thought was a driver problem on my PC. I must have had a bad cable, and then been mislead by someone else who believed you need the original. Thanks for the correction!
That's odd. My Bluetooth Pandora receiver only cost about $250. It also allows me to leave an iDevice inside the receiver in a tray if I want to use Pandora via USB with my iPod, rather than the Bluetooth Pandora from my Android devices.
>By the time operating systems and applications are available to use these efficiently these devices will be in the trash.
Isn't that because of the limited processors?
A fast 8 cores could allow people to use the same tablet for many years through many software upgrades.

Why walk for 20-30 minutes when you can be moving much more than walking involves, and not get bored for hours while playing a game?

Does it occur to you that you probably live in an angry little fake reality, and lash out at more knowledgable people?

Unless someone can demonstrate that this database includes data on everyone, rather than suspects that they're authorized to track.

I assume it's someone very new to English, or with a serious disability. Great job making fun of them coward.
>This isn't really an Apple problem: everybody uses these companies for manufacturing, it's an industry-wide problem.
Isn't this always the case? Apple is a well-known and envied brand, so they get the blame for something that's a problem with the entire industry.
It does at least bring attention to the problem, but doing so honestly would be a lot better.
Disclosure: I own an iPod Touch, but my phone and multiple tablets are Android devices. Not an Apple Fanboi.

Based on feedback here, I now believe that is the case, and will spread the misinformation no further.
