Though when dapper is released you have to do a dist-upgrade to the next development release.

If you really want bleeding edge ubuntu, then perhaps this version is better: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDownUnder/BOFs/Grump yGroundhog ?

Anyway, if you want just more than security updates, then the backports repositories is enough for me.

http://www.doostang.com/ is a another way, they use social networking so that the job posts you see are from people you trust. And for real job vacancies.

That way you can avoid the recruiters who spam the normal job boards with vague description to catch applications for non existant jobs.

It is not that relevant for me as it is mostly US jobs, but seems to be spreading their circle of friends so there are already the odd jobs across the pond.

What they do with anonymous data is not clear though.

With 10 now comming out, I think it will maintain it.

It is not nice to be cut off without warning, but if your machine is infected or comprimised in some way then it needs to be isolated.

True, an email warning would be helpfull, but some people only read their email once a week or less. In the mean time their machine could still be on, and relaying junk all over the place.

Best cut them off and have them contact Customer Services to be reconnected. Ok they probably might want to join another company afterwards...

Or send them an physical letter.

The best solution though, would be to move suspected customers into a specific firewalled network where all ports were blocked incomming and outgoing and all that was allowed was incomming pop3/imap so they could receive the warning message?

Naturally a 0.1 mp is useless for anything else, but i doubt they could include a 3 mp camera in it for that size and price.
