Why? Its a fucking health service. Why should birth control be special from antibiotics when it comes to healthcare.
A health service?!
I have major medical insurance only, which covers me if I turn into Terry Shiavo (at best). I also have asthma. If I don't have inhalers, I can stop breathing and die. Now, my doctor stopped writing me prescriptions for my rescue inhalers because "I use them too much and that's not good for me to overuse them." Instead, he wants me to to use discus inhalers that cost hundreds of dollars per month. I can't afford to pay that, so I have to get my rescue inhalers from India without prescription.
So I can't afford my doctor-prescribed discus inhalers, but I should pay for people who can't keep their fucking legs closed?
If you think the book is overpriced... Don't buy it!
I don't understand lefties being incapable of understanding that the point of doing business is to make money. Nobody is stopping you from going into business for yourself, or investing in these greedy corporations and sharing some of the dividends.
I don't understand why they have the delay in releasing them to Hulu. If they were on Hulu right away, I would watch with commercials. Since they like to be dicks about it, I just download from TPB and watch without commercials. Who is winning there?
Isn't it illegal to ask such things at an interview, since Facebook account likely to have some nuggets on your age/religion/etc?
It's illegal to discriminate based on those criteria, but it's not illegal to know this information. And it's easy to discriminate based on anything you like as long as you don't acknowledge it...

Haha, working at Best Buy was my first McJob fresh out of college with a useless degree. My experience was just like yours. I left after 3 months because that place wasn't for me. I can get crappy pay at a lot of other places that aren't as annoying.
As much as I think Flash is *way* overused on the Internet, I would miss it. I watch some videos, though not that much - but when I want to it's nice to have. I also play online games to kill time which I don't NEED, but like. I generally hate Flash, but sometimes you need it. Fortunately, Chrome is an option.
I guess everyone has different experiences. Vista was the reason I finally made the switch to Mac. Vista was clunky and painfully slow, and driver support was terrible.
I'm still using a Mac for my primary machine, but I have Windows 7 installed on my work PCs and on my media center at home. It's fast, even on old equipment, and I've yet to have a major driver issue.
Really? That's pretty nice. I always wondered why the U.S. would turn such a blind eye to such treatment in our prisons. Such inaction seems to clearly violate 8th amendment rights. But what do I know.:/
I think you're splitting hairs. The U.S. would "come after you" via the MEXICAN police. I don't think the parent necessarily meant an FBI agent knocking on the door of your adobe and slapping cuffs on you. -,-
Microsoft kills products all the time (often times, I would argue, prematurely). This one doesn't surprise me either, since even Google decided there wasn't money in this (as made evident by how much Google Sites sucks).
I was running Vista for about a year on a fairly beefy desktop, and I would have a blue screen almost every day. I dealt with it for a long time out of laziness, but eventually I installed XP. No blue screens now.
Q: Perhaps my hardware was faulty? A: It's probably poor drivers from the manufacturer, which is not Microsoft's fault.
Response: Well, that doesn't do me any good as an end-user. I just want my desktop to work - I don't care whose fault it is - and Windows XP doesn't blue screen for me.
I tested hosting one of my domains e-mail on Google Apps for awhile, and I got similar errors as the parent. It got so frustrating I just transferred the mail to another IMAP host.
It seems only to happen with accounts hosted by the free Google Apps (@mydomain.com). My Gmail account (@gmail.com) never experienced this problem. Still, it was a pretty lousy demonstration of their Apps services...
Those Germans think of everything!

Health service my ass.

Or as soon as they "elect" someone who thinks the Internet is a slight against Allah.

I can't remember the last time I ran 512MB of RAM on my primary desktop. It had to have been at least a decade? 0.o
True 'dat. We used to fancy running OS/2 for its multitasking capabilities with the BBS, but we still always referred to it as "Slow S/2".

35 hours a week? How pathetic and lazy.
I work 70 hours almost every week (I do get about one week a month where I work only 64).
We have a lot of problems, but at least the U.S. still has a work ethic.
I'm glad I have TDS Metrocom's sweet wireless service at the office.
Goodbye Time Warner at home, though!

> "it was less work to add them then to explain why I don't want to add someone."
For those people, I add them and then just hide them from my feed. That way, they don't clutter it up.

Hmmm, I wouldn't think that would be a problem for Coke (Dasani) and Pepsi (Aquafina)...
> "migrating over to Gmail would be too much of a hassle"
Migrating wouldn't be as difficult if Yahoo supported IMAP. Then again, if Yahoo supported IMAP, there would be less of a reason to migrate.

Anyway, WordPress rocks!
$2,000 to upgrade any business to Windows 7 seems like a bargain. Sadly, in the end, you'll still be running Windows.
I'm fine with it as long as they reduce the capped service fee to something close to the price of dialup.

Does a bias towards off-shoring conflict with Democratic (party) tenets?
