    Tiny Personal Firewall is vastly superior and completely free for personal use. I combined it with TCPTunnel for Win32 (for port forwarding). The two products work fine together and can easily protect a whole lan if ICS is used under XP or 2000.

    The source is available for the port forwarder. The firewall is ICSA certified.

    I have that same release, it seems. I got a .img file from edonkey that turned out to be actually .img.sit, which then did not de-stuffitize itself on the imac, but did on the pc, producing puma something blah blah macosx .toast, and now I can't do fuck all with it.

    I tried an dfs iso -> real iso program but it said the file wasn't a multiple of (something) long.

    And btw, I wouldn't worry about being off-topic. How can you possibly be off-topic on April-Fools' day with /. posting all this nonsense. (/. editors would get into real trouble if we had another terrorist attack like 9/11 on 4/1 as everyone would think they were making a sick joke...)

    So you are one of those people who go up to a computer monitor and go: "How the fuck do I use this then?"

    Paper is no more or less "intuitive" than an electronic screen. Maybe you feel that is is because you physically hold the paper, but all your "intuitive" responses to paper (screwing it up, writing on it, passing it to someone) are all learned.

    There will come a time in the not too distant future when the new youth (with giant thumbs) find it harder to deal with a sheet of paper than their email client. (They'll probably tap their finger on the top right of it when they've finished reading it).
