I'm getting 1.6Mbps through bittorrent, the maximum of my current connection.
Plus, with BT, you are guaranteed to get the file intact, as it checks the hash on every packet it receives.
I agree mostly, and with TiVo, you can record it and watch it however many times you want for as long as you want.
The main reason I don't order many PPVs from DirecTV is because they are almost universally pan&scan.
I'd love to had an ad-free feed of my favorite networks. Studies have already shown that TiVo users are far more likely to subscribe to premium networks such as HBO and Showtime. Even though I can skip ads with a couple twitches of a thumb, I'd gladly pay for a feed that didn't have them in the first place.
False claim? There is an error margin in every statistic. SA 2.50 is amazingly accurate. We have 0 false-positives, and very few false-negatives. In my estimation, the numbers I quoted above are accurate to about 2%.
On the server I administer, I have a nightly cronjob set to parse the spamassassin logs, and email me the stats.
Since the logs were cycled on Sunday morning, there have been 8332 messages, 5824 of which were spam, for a percentage of 69.89%.
This number has increased substantially over the last 3 weeks. This time last month we were below 50%.

Which is exactly why Google(tm) needs to protect itself. The term "to google" is derived from their trademarked name. If they don't defend it, it weakens their ability to protect it once someone uses it to do real damage.
You are correct. I have had this account for a couple years, and it was modding me down for being a new user., even when I had the threshold set to it's lowest (1%) Perhaps more options should be available for that function, like an option for a set amount of time. Also, I think perhaps Taco needs to purge some inactive accounts.
The only way you can get the east/west feeds from DirecTV is to receive waivers from your local affiliates granting you access. If you can pull in even a fuzzy signal over rabbit ears, you will almost certainly be denied, since your locals want you to look at the local ads.
It is extremely difficult to get distant locals over DirecTV, unless you've been grandfathered in, "move", or hack.
This is evidently not the case. Missouri AG Jay Nixon has collected a substantial amount of money from out-of-state telemarketers who violate the No Call Law.
Sprint just laid off several thousand employees from its HQ here locally. My guess is the staff that runs the abuse@ account were the first to go.
My question is, why are these things even listening on the external interface? I set one of these boxes up for a friend recently, and I couldn't find a single way to block tftp/telnet/http from the outside. What's worse, is that these modems are quite clearly running Netgear firmware, which by default doesn't not allow conections externally So, someone at either ZyXEL or Sprint actively decided that these boxes should allow administrative control from anywhere.
Absolutely. Everyone who works for a law firm signs a confidentiality agreement. Disclosing this information was a clear breach of that contract, and a violation of the law.
This guy should be in jail. Anyone who disagrees doesn't understand business.
I'll agree with that. I tried djbdns, and it simply did not have the functionality I needed for my application. (mainly, multiple DNS views) BIND9 is stable, functional, and doesn't seem to suffer from the incessant security issues inherent in BIND4/8.
They do. Both Replay and TiVo buy their guide data from Tribune Media Services. TMS provides guide data to just about every program guide provider in existence.
Get a DirecTiVo with DirecTV. Perfect picture quality, and the service is only 4.95 a month (vs the 12.95 for a standalone), or free if you have Total Choice Premier.
This box is actually based on the TiVo software, it just doesn't use the TiVo service. TiVoPony has said that there is a possibility this box could be released in the States, where TiVo service is available.

Well, it's been said, but I'll say it again. Maybe if the first single off of the new record wasn't titled We're All Made of Start then maybe people would buy it. Sounds to me like he's trying to make excuses to his label why his album isn't selling.
I've actually heard a few other cuts from the new record on RadioParadise that made me want to buy the record in spite of the first single. Well, after this nonsense, no more.
RP is awesome. Nothing but great music, and absolutely no commercials. Anyone who hasn't ever tuned in, give them a listen. (tomorrow of course, you won't hear anything today)
You probably have larger hands. For someone with small hands, the standard controller is quite combersome.
Just do what I did, and buy a used iPod. Then, you get the best of both worlds. Low(er) price, and great interface and features.

Actually, the best way to handle this is to assign a -1 penalty to new users.

Unfortunately, no. These boxes also have no portfw functionality of any kind.

I got this one once at about 4:30 in the morning trying to get a sound card to work with the game Full Throttle

I can verify that this is correct. Quite handy actually.

Does anyone even use this program?
