Many new life forms have already been made by some definitions, just swap one gene for another and you have something different. How do they decide when what they make is an *new* lifeform?
ok it would have been hard to make a vhs/beat blayer, but HD and BD are both dvd size, it shouldn't be to hard to make players support both right? lets share.
Buy what if i own a company that made most of the clothes that are washed in Maytag washing machines I should get a bit of the profit then... Right?...
I could see this happening, but the same way as with atm's, not compleatly. During the day there would be a human taking your order (if you didn't just use the kiosk) then late at night you could still order your burger with a fully automated system.
I'm sure future GPS devices would be able to use both networks without that much extra hardware. With some cleaver programming using data from two different networks, future GPS/Gallileo devices could be more accurate and relible than either network would be seperatly.
Can't slashdot have code in it that warns story posters if their stories link to the same article as another recent story linked to or somthing? Come on, 3 dupes in 1 day is way too much.
I did stuff like that a long time ago on my palm pilot with omniremote (http://www.pacificneotek.com). Plus that way you dont have to buy anything from M$.
Now if you search for "riaa" on ag all the flame/spoof/etc songs about the riaa are unavailable due to "copywrite restrictions". Blocking real copywrite restrictions are sort of ok but blocking free speach...
