ahh...whatever. Sony will catch up, with a vengence. I am still waiting for a World of Warcraft/Everquest/Ultima Online on Xbox or PS3. When they pull that off they will have really hooked the adictable.

Is it not also true that hurricane patterns run in cycles. Thus every 20 to 30 years there is a cycle and they also believe there is a secondary cycle. In the 120 year range.

We don't have records dating back very far on how stonge hurricane are, we don't have a clue how many there have been outside of the last 100 years, and those are just in 1858 it felt like 140 mile per hours winds!

Anyway my point being we have no constructive data about hurricanes at all in the range that we need them to have any idea if this is just not a normal cycle. By the time we figure it out it will be to late anyway.

    Peace out hippies.

You could use a digital copy, which was rare at the time, scan a neg in, or scan a positive in. Did not matter, enlarge, reduce..etc..etc. to photo quality paper. That did and actual photo chemical bath process. It was rather revolutionary to have it in a mall at the time about 13 years ago.

Hell I did all my photo homework on it for 2 years. What took people 20 hours of lab work I could do in 45 seconds. I still think the director of photography might be confused to this day.....

I think the point on the last bit is that you should not be making a choice for someone else.

When we send people off to war it is not one person picking to do something that will greatly change everyones lives in this country.

We take people off of life support because they can no long in the future live on their own. They are already brain dead, thier fate is already sealed.

We execute the guilty for killing. Eye for and Eye and all that. You don't get killed if you have not killed yourself.

This soon to be child, fetus, whatever you want to call it has not killed anyone. This fetus has very good chance of living a normal healthy life. This decision has been left in the hands of someone that does not want a child, not elected officals, not a church full of do gooders. One single person that is angry, mad, confused, and bitter who does not want a child. I would say that unpleasant is gross understatement.

I don't have the answer, but your approach to the subject of abortion being lumped into War, the execution of a criminal, and pulling someone off life support disturbs me. Maybe it was ment to.

Although I don't personally agree with abortion, what you do with you body is up to you. Just can't wrap my own hands around when it becomes a shared body, or someone elses as well. Tuff subject, it is unpleasant to even start thinking about it honestly.

I would do a 3 step process here. I will assume you have mag strip access to rooms on these cards. Should not be to much of a strech to have one set up on a storage door for access. Here you have a access control list for that door and limit your pool of people with access.

Then barcode all the equipment, set up a little web site that allows people to "request" to check out a piece of equipment online. Use the qcat, after getting past the access list for room access at the door, they scan the piece they are checking out. This time stamps the equipment for you as a check out and return. When they return the equipement they scan it again, and this removes it from the webpage as a "checked out" iteam. Thus giving a running list on the website of things that are "in".

Finally, set up a cheap webcam (thinkgeek has for 200 that is ip based with webserver) to write to disk on a computer in anouther room. This is your safty net for "nothing was scanned, but we have billy bob on tape slinking out with the digital camera. Here are the door scan logs from 12:03 am, and here are the logs where he did not scan it out. Also, he did not request this iteam via the web page. Get a ROPE!"

I think this pretty much covers your ass, gives them access to the equipment, and allows for an automated check in, check out, and what is "in stock".

    Best of luck.
