    Think about it! He's got 50 billion, if he gave up 90% he would still have 5 billion and live a happy life. What about you having 10,000 and giving up 90% of it? Hey, you couldn't even afford to rent a house .

    the gaming world took a great leap in size after sony released its PlayStation , which attracted , what we now name , light users , well , a hell number of them. Yes , they are the potential cosumers , but they are more readily to lose , or change , their interests in game than heavy users do.
    And so what ? One time , they contribute to a great part of the cake and then another time , they leave without a sign.

    1) Sound - well , almost done
    2) Visual - on its way , see no end yet.
    3) Sense - AFAIK , in an ignored state , mostly if not completely

    In porting unix command-line or non-command-line tools to OS X?
    attract unix users to that sweet os? or make powerful also sweet applications out of these unix tools? do you really think they , mac users , will accustom them to m4 , groff , epn etc or anything built upon them?
    I think UNIX and OS?(number,X,whatever) are two fundamentally different ways of doing OSs and so it is with their user group.

    Well, this project ( developing another WM ) might contribute little to OSS community but , it could bring back a lot of joyful memories to those who had been lived with it. So , IMHO , if there are people willing to spend some time on bringing it to Linux or *BSDs , let them do it and we're glad that they do so , and that's what the author's calling for.

    It's quite strange that they set out to build a full-functional OS just to run Office 2000 and Word on it. Anyone with the least common sense would prefer to go Top-Down , i.e. , write its own Word Processor before go to OS, not to mention there are many OS available.
