'Insigtful'? Use your brains , moders! Think about it! He's got 50 billion, if he gave up 90% he would still have 5 billion and live a happy life. What about you having 10,000 and giving up 90% of it? Hey, you couldn't even afford to rent a house .
I think **reason|logic** doesnt speak here. The government will block whatever it deems right and its ourselves who invent those various reasons why why why.
the gaming world took a great leap in size after sony released its PlayStation , which attracted , what we now name , light users , well , a hell number of them. Yes , they are the potential cosumers , but they are more readily to lose , or change , their interests in game than heavy users do. And so what ? One time , they contribute to a great part of the cake and then another time , they leave without a sign.
In porting unix command-line or non-command-line tools to OS X? attract unix users to that sweet os? or make powerful also sweet applications out of these unix tools? do you really think they , mac users , will accustom them to m4 , groff , epn etc or anything built upon them? I think UNIX and OS?(number,X,whatever) are two fundamentally different ways of doing OSs and so it is with their user group.
Well, this project ( developing another WM ) might contribute little to OSS community but , it could bring back a lot of joyful memories to those who had been lived with it. So , IMHO , if there are people willing to spend some time on bringing it to Linux or *BSDs , let them do it and we're glad that they do so , and that's what the author's calling for.
Sure you could use your MAC with a single-button mouse and still feel happy 'cause you only run Photonsh0p or something like that. But what if one day you wanna play War Crvft 3 and find you cant either command your troops or make 'em attack , so what's it that you play for?
It's quite strange that they set out to build a full-functional OS just to run Office 2000 and Word on it. Anyone with the least common sense would prefer to go Top-Down , i.e. , write its own Word Processor before go to OS, not to mention there are many OS available.
Linux-prone users , like myself, tend to use machines of their own design and are less likely , in contrast to common customers , to buy DELLs and stuff like that
en... wondering why MS would enter a winner-cannot-take-all market ...
which can multi-boot knoppix/x86 knoppix/ppc knoppix/x86_64(exist?) will be real handy.
got to be "VIIV Isn't IV" meaning "we've got this something that's definitely not P4"

According to Neumann's thoery, a math guy reaches his peak at about 26, could this _Gert Mittring_ be a bit more 'number-crunching' at that age?

if i say u down , u down
we got it re-engineered , we would see it's just another way to play music with digits.
i wonder if i get the patent for it , can i claim copyrights on all the music pieces that could be generated using this magic device.

IMO, there are three major challenges to the realization of virtual reality.
1) Sound - well , almost done
2) Visual - on its way , see no end yet.
3) Sense - AFAIK , in an ignored state , mostly if not completely
( say u wanna TASTE and SMELL simulation also )

This time the limit is set to 1GB , next time , they may change it to , say , 500M. You'll get used to it , I guess.

'cause when the Prof finds he's short of native eggheads he'll just let people from other places of the world take over the task.

Yet I don't quite understand it , but I like it cause it somehow arises my interest in data-mining.

The reason they "seem" to be smarter is that they use a no-brainer type computer to save their brain cells.
u see the competition is all about human-like chat bots, not some intelligent form
if your favorite FPS is counter-strike , well , you don't have to pay too much attention to the mouse you're using.
